Im so tired of the Norm, for beauty, for fashion, for anything.... not that I was ever norm..... I tried, just never fit. Thank You 😊 for Never Letting me Fit 🙏 Thank You for My Brand of Crazy, and Thank You to All the ladies and Gentleman out there who stay true to themselves- “cause keeping up with the Jones’s is for the Beavers’” so says me 🖤⭐️
Let’s discuss the garland I’m using on my mantle for fall. The fringe is just one of my favorite things ever! I bought it in the fabric section @hobbylobby and the simple fall leave garland is just draped across the macrame. I found it @target dollar spot and I love it! Both were so affordable and easy to hang. The frame you see to the left was thrifted and I gave it a little makeover. You don’t have to spend a lot of money to have something beautiful. To me, this is beautiful. And BTW, check out my stories to find out how we are making over our kitchen island! #sweetparrishplacedecor
This is Nina the garden stool. She definitely knows all the proper etiquette for RSVPing to a garden party and totally irons her sheets after washing them. Tripp the aloe plant, on the other hand, is definitely showing up without RSVPing in an outfit that doesn’t meet the dress code. We love them both, though! Nina is the latest edition to our trove of vintage treasures waiting for the perfect client. Chinoiserie pieces like this can work surprisingly well in “organic modern” or “rustic minimalist” (whatever we’re calling it these days) designs because they keep an earthy room from skewing too 1960s commune and add a bit of refinement to all the natural materials and raw textiles.
Our dining/breakfast/art area. It's usually kind of dark, so I was happy to catch this sunny moment. This is a table of my dreams🌠✨🌠 I got it off Craigslist last week. Gotta love it when a home seller leaves behind a mid-century Danish teak table and the new home owner sells it for a steal because it's not her style 😸 The Cesca-style chairs were also a Craiglist find. Still looking for a source of not-very-expensive faux leather to upholster those bench seats. Local friends, what are your favorite sources of upholstery fabric? #storiedcuratedhome
Happy Monday, fam. I'm back at it with ✨brass✨ ! A little brass strawberry is perfect to hold loose incense or paperclips, or plant a baby succulent in it 💚🌵. I am working on the listing for it today! Or dm me for purchasing details. 🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓
