We are all leaders and responsible at the least for ourselves and how we carry our ourselves.
And as leaders there are many things we can do to effect society starting with ourselves first. For what is society made up off! But Individuals who make up a community and grow to become a society.
Starting with ourselves; how do you see yourself? Do you uplift or bring people down? Are you a defender of people or an oppressor? Do you take count of yourself before judging others? If you judge why do you judge? Do you give hope or misery?
The list can go one but these are a few from myself to the wider community hope it helps and pass it on if it did.
Keep it simple. Make it fun. 🇺🇸 Anti piracy 🏴☠️ops were incredibly boring. I learned that maintaining a routine was vital to keep my sanity.
Prayer, reflection, fitness, and dry fire to keep my skills sharp everyday were necessary.
Without internet or phones, we had to practice an ancient art...We had to talk to each other.
We enjoyed learning about each other. Time went by slow, but well. In the modern environment the pace causes life to zip by fast and often without quality.
I try to remember these trips and intentionally slow my pace and enjoy the journey. I’m not great at it, but I try.
Everything must be kept in perspective. When we allow negativity and self-pity to creep we become miserable and enhance the uncomfortableness of the already uncomfortable conditions.
Readily available comfort and instant gratification of the modern world causes me to forget lessons learned and I try to wage war against their entrapment.
When we keep it simple, make it fun, and appreciate the small things we have and celebrate small victories we have a much better experience.
To the military brass that don’t like my appearance...I was contracting, and I can shoot that rifle better than you can with or without shoes on. 🐸🇺🇸 @jasonkuhn255
Mon grand frère a moi. ❤️ #brotherhood#goals
"It's a cruel and random world, but the chaos is all so beautiful. A lesson without pain is meaningless. For you cannot gain anything without sacrificing something else in return, but once you have overcome it and made it your own...you will gain an irreplaceable fullmetal heart.”
FMA is such a throwback to my childhood, I'm glad I got to do this one!
