✨FEEDING WITH LOVE✨ photo/words @wendysdoula - “One thing I can never endure is hearing a baby cry out of hunger. My letdown activates on full force when I hear any baby cry.
I'm lucky to produce enough to not only feed my own child, I'm able to pump and donate and feed another on the spot. My heart is full when I know I can help out even through feeding. Of course I don't do this with any baby I see. Only with the consent and trust from the parent. Breast/Chest feeding a baby is a very sacred and intimate moment. I'm privileged that the mother trusts me enough to feed her son. This little guy is my dearest friend's baby who just needing a little extra breastmilk from the tap.
I have the permission to share these photos from the mom of her son being nursed by me because I wanted to normalize breastfeeding, wet nursing, and the importance of human milk. Alot will feel uncomfortable or think its disgusting. I'm not trying to force you to like it, but to help those understand the meaning behind it and normalizing it.
I'm also not anti-formula feeding. To me, however you choose to feed your baby, whether it's human milk or formula, the important thing is that your baby is being fed.” #lactateanddonate#sharingiscaring#doula#birthworker#wetnurse#feedingwithlove#feedingisbest#feedingisbestnomatterhowyoudoit#lactation#liquidgold#nursing#normalizebreastfeeding#postpartum#chestfeeding#breastfeeding#breastmilk#carriagehousebirth
Inducing labor positions @pregnancyworkout
Please note. All of these exercises are completely safe to do during pregnancy and will help prepare your body for labor and delivery, BUT please don’t try to induce labor unless your doctor or midwife has agreed you are ready (usually 37 weeks or beyond) 😀 @bodyfitbyamy
As I stood in the baby aisle at Target today searching for my lactation cookies, I saw a woman slowly browsing the aisle with me. She timidly picked up a container of lactation support powder and asked me if I had ever tried it. I kindly replied that no I hadn’t, and then proceeded to launch into a rambling discussion on these lactation cookies and other things I do to help boost my milk supply. I sometimes have trouble getting words to stop coming out of my mouth once I start talking, especially to strangers. I call it my nervous rambling. Anyway, after I was done she smiled and thanked me so much for the advice. She said she was a first time mom with a 7 week old and was trying hard to keep up with the demands of breastfeeding. I could see the look of exhaustion, fear, and worry on her face. I recognized it because I’ve had that same look many times. We chatted a bit more and I could tell she was weary. I tried my best to offer some mental/emotional support as a mom of 2 who’s been down this breastfeeding road. I then asked if I could give her a hug. Yes, I was that weirdo standing in the breastfeeding aisle at Target asking a complete stranger if I could give her a hug. She threw her head back and giggled and said “yes, please!”. As I wrapped my arms around her I felt her melt into me, releasing some of that tension and exhaustion and she even let out some tears. She thanked me over and over again, as I gave her one last squeeze and told her to hang in there and that she’s doing a great job. As I walked away I was flooded with emotions. Remembering those very hard and exhausting early weeks of nursing a newborn, and wanting to squeeze my own sweet babies and remind them how much they are loved. Mommas, no matter where you are at in your journey, no matter how you choose to feed your baby, we are all in this together. Let’s support each other, and hug the momma you see standing in the Target aisle who looks like she might be having a tough time. You are doing a good job!! #motherhoodunplugged#momlife#bekind#spreadhappiness#breastfeeding

Baby boy turned six months yesterday, and we are still going strong with exclusively breastfeeding...over the last two weeks, I’ve slowly introduced puréed solids...he likes squash and sweet potatoes but wasn’t a fan of the green beans. He’s cutting his third tooth (which makes breastfeeding interesting with all the biting)...rolls over from front to back and back to front, still doesn’t sit up on his own, but does great with assistance...he’s beginning to reach for me, and definitely for his dad (he gets so excited when he walks in)...just wanted to update you ladies...things are so busy, and I notice any baby posts causes some pain for some of my followers...so, I don’t post as much as I used to. But I thought the six month mark was worth sharing with a group of ladies that have always been so great to me...I’m still praying so hard for you ladies, and will continue to answer any and all questions I receive in my DM’s #exclusivelybreastfed#exclusivelybreastfeeding#babyafterloss#sixmonthsold#boymom#breastfeeding#september2018baby#csectionbaby#csectionrecovery
Happy Transformation Tuesday
I think I was 8 months pregnant here to now 5 months postpartum
To be honest I did not really enjoy my last pregnancy like my first one
I was super uncomfortable, nauseous and exhausted the whole time.
My first pregnancy was actually very enjoyable up until a few days before I got induced. 🤰🤰🤰 This baby was almost double the size of my first born so it took a toll on my body. 😱
I had very painful varicose veins, swelling, and sever back pain.
But even with all the discomfort I still managed to eat mostly clean and workout consistently because I knew it helped me feel better. 🍇🥭🥝 I also knew it would help me recover faster.
After I was cleared to workout again I had a lot of work to do.
My pelvic floor was incredibly weak along with my core.
I started with postnatal workouts and gradually increased intensity in what I did as the months went on.
Now I feel so strong and I am so happy with where I am at.
I am healthy and make plenty of milk for my baby. 🤱
Looking forward to crushing more goals as the time goes by along with more accountability partners to join me on my journey. 💪💪💪 Being apart of a fit family just gives me that extra support and motivation I need on somedays. 👊👊👊 Want to join my fit fam?

I realized that after becoming a mom, I’m always the one taking any and all pictures. If I somehow make it into a picture it rarely comes out well😂 So here’s a picture of me and my husband from over the summer.
Anyways, I thought I’d hop over here and do a little introduction. My name is Jocelyn and I’m a born and raised New Yorker. I’ve been married to the love of my life for almost 7 years now, and we have had 3 beautiful babes together. I never imagined when I said “yes” on our wedding day, all the ups and downs we would go through. But I wouldn’t want to do life with anyone else.
I’m a full time stay at home mama, and my days consist of constant diaper changes, feedings, laundry, baths, and snuggles. These days can be tough, but I can’t imagine my life any other way. I try to soak up every moment because they really do grow up so fast😭
On top of being a stay at home mom, I run a Young Living business. I’m passionate about healthy living and helping people rid their lives of toxins. I also love working out, clean eating, and all things smoothies 🥤
Tell me about you!
I’m proud to say I made it to my goal of nursing for a year!! However, I am not ashamed to say I am DONE 😂 there’s a reason that percentage is so low, the mess is hard! No one tells you that. All you hear is how you’re a bad mom if don’t, and it’s natural...that doesn’t make it easy. And congrats to all the mamas who kept their babies fed for the first year! Because idk which is harder, nursing or paying for formula 😬😂 #breastfeeding#fedisbest#oneyearanddone

Why wouldn’t I be proud of myself, I worked hard for this! Not by working out but on discipline! We all start off with learning to be discipline, learning new things about ourselves, and saying no to things that don’t align with our goals!
On the right was in my last week with my 6th baby! I was preparing myself to be a mom of six because being a mom is never easy no matter how many children you have! A new baby bring new struggles, new joys, and new learnings!
On the right I am a little over two months postpartum and loving this journey more and more everyday! A day like today when I was going thru eating disorders and obsessive working out I would beat myself up because I’m feeling super bad and not able to workout but instead I’m in a new place where my mindset has changed and also my nutrition and because of my amazing nutrition it has my back!

🍽️ Oh boy! Cooking with newborn is hard! You have to think on your feet and create meals which can be cooked without big preparations. Today's dinner: barley cooked in vegetable stock (from homemade stock cube), crispy skin roasted chicken thighs and baby carrots.
This is our new beardie Dallas, Dally for short. We waited about a week to get him and we were/are so excited for him to finally arrive to us💖! He traveled all the way from Texas to get to us. He is currently in shed so his colors aren’t popping as much but he does have yellow, blue, and orange to him😍😍!
We got him from an amazing breeder @kids_and_dragons 🦎. He was so professional, helpful, kind, and sold us an amazing dragon. He is the guy to go to if you want an amazing beardie with amazing customer service. I definitely recommend him.

When I was pregnant, I set a goal to breastfeed for at least 6 months, preferably a year. Well here we are 22 months later, finally weaning. It’s bittersweet, but this mommy was so ready.
I’ve been breastfeeding on demand and throughout the night (like several times a night, every night) for nearly 2 years. It was interfering with our sleep and even with our play time. Instead of playing with me, she would cry to breastfeed. That’s when I decided it was time to stop.
We spent a week at my parents house so they could help us wean her during the night. 1 week later and she is not breastfeeding at all anymore and sleeping through the night. I should have done this a long time ago!
It was a beautiful journey that created such a special bond, but it was time. I forgot what it was like to sleep more than 3 hours straight. I feel so refreshed!
