For me there is nothing better than the peanut butter & frozen banana combo on a slice of toast...pure magic in my mouth 🥜🍌🍞💫! Sorry for the pre-photo bite... it looked to good to wait😂. I topped this beauty with cinnamon & Manuka honey which brought it to another level of deliciousness. Sometimes it’s the simple things that bring the most pleasure. I have SUCH a sweet tooth. It’s annoying. @traderjoes has this BOMB coffee bean ice cream that is so good that I dream about it. But of course, with any ice cream, it’s not the best for when trying to get back into shape and lose weight... so to curb my sweet tooth, I’ve been eating @sprouts rice cakes, with their creamy PB, slices of banana [like 1/3 of one] and some chocolate chips on top. It’s really good. 🍌🍫 What’s your favorite sweet tooth craving that’s not loaded with sugar, carbs and calories?
man oh man have I been eating a lot of carbs these past few days. I wake up with the mindset to eat healthy, then I get to work and forget to eat for hours, by the time I do eat I am starving. Yesterday I had 3 tiny slices of pizza over 3 hours and then I had some queso dip [like 4 TBSP] for dinner. 🙈 woof. Today I forced myself to wake up to make breakfast before work, and I’m enjoying my coffee and food on my patio. I’ll make a shake for my drive to work and then I’ll eat protein and veggies the rest of the day and try to drink lots of water! 💧💧 •• my breakfast has zucchini and onions sautéed in garlic powder, dash of Himalayan salt and pepper. Then I scrambled 2 organic cage free eggs with 2 tbsp of brown rice [carbs for the mornings only the next few days] and then I used 2 tbsp of black bean and corn salsa instead of adding cheese. 🤘🏼 very delicious! For my coffee i use Delight brand which is GF and DF. 🖤
I can’t even remember the last time I made breakfast like this. Maybe in Hawaii? And have you ever made food and it made you feel like home? Well, that happened to me this morning. ☺️
I made zucchini, tomatoes and quinoa with Himalayan pink salt, pepper, everything bagel seasoning from TJs, and a bit of garlic powder. Then I made two over medium eggs and placed it on top. It was so delicious. I scarfed the whole thing right up. 🙆🏼♀️
