FOR YEARS I neglected feeding my body & brain of appropriate healthy fats because I genuinely believed ‘fat makes you fat’ — LIE!!!!
I’m not suggesting you should only eat fat, eat fat in unlimited amounts or even that everyone should follow a strict keto diet (I’M NOT FULL KETO DESPITE WHAT PEOPLE MAY THINK) but I do believe there is unbelievable benefits to including healthy fats in our daily nutrition and FREEDOM to be found in enjoying great tasting food that INCLUDES FAT ❤️🙌🏼🔥 •
FACT: There is nothing real or truly satiating about eating fake foods that are labeled FAT FREE. These are the foods that should come with a giant warning ⚠️ sign: BEWARE IM FAKE AND PUMPED FULL OF ARTIFICIAL INGREDIENTS OR UNDERWENT A RIDICULOUSLY UNNATURAL PROCESS TO BECOME LOW FAT 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼 •
The diet industry has lied to us for years about what healthy really is. In the process many of us (myself included for decades of my life) have become addicted to fake, processed foods that boast ‘fat free’ or ‘low calorie’ but do not properly nourish our body and brain. I’m here to say “let’s change the course of our diet and food industry for the generations to come!” YES?! #dietlies • ** Side note: not all mayo brands are created equal. In need of an easy, healthy, delicious Sunday night recipe?! I’ve got you covered 😏
Ginger Honey Lime Salmon 🐟🍯
Mix together 1 T fresh ground ginger, 2 T honey, 3 T fresh lime juice, and 1 T soy sauce. Marinade in a deep dish for ~15 minutes. Grill salmon until fully cooked with slight char on bottom. Mix same combination as before, adding 3-4 T chopped cilantro. Pour mixture over top of salmon once it is done cooking to serve.
A sweet and savory breakfast bowl is my go to breakfast by far 🤗 You can just make them with anything you’ve got on hand and that just makes things so easy 💯 Sundays are grocery shopping days so Sunday meals are always just whatever is left in the fridge 👌🏻 Luckily I keep this bread in the freezer so it stays good for a long time 😎 I also found a kiwi hiding in the back of the fruit drawer 🥝 So I made a cute little kiwi flower 🤗 The perfect easy breakfast 🍳 Full of healthy fats, carbs, and protein 🙌🏻 Heading to get ready for church, then doing typical Sunday things like grocery shopping and meal prepping 😌 Nothing too exciting over here!
