Choose the very low GI foods (brown rice us still too much..)
No simple carbs (rice, breads, sugar..)
No sugars (refined, fructose, lactose, honey etc.)
Google “keto calculator” and strat aimig for your ideal macros
Let your body switch to producing ketones.
It’s NOT EASY at first.
You have to COMMIT.
No need to do keto (under 30-50g of carbs) if you’re only aiming for weightloss. There are easier ways for that i.ex. a low carb diet (under ~120g daily)
I no longer track macros, but I had in the first months.
I’ve been doing keto for almost a year now.
With the foods i choose I keep my blood sugar low and my brain at high efficiency mode! 💪

Dialed in my nutrition, but not as much as I should have. My sweet tooth is going to be the death of me.

Yeah, I run 2-3 days a week too, but I’ve never gotten weight loss, let alone definition from running.

Taking Over Tuesday is a mindset....how did you “conquer” your day? For me, it was fresh blueberry smoothies for my family for breakfast, then making blueberry chocolate bark with one of my kids, then peach/mango/nectarine/strawberry smoothies with dinner—in wine glasses! Keeping it fancy! Lol

This is the typical breakfast of our 7 year old. It takes me approximately 5 minutes to prepare each day, and usually I’m attending to several other things while the bread is toasting. This is a perfect example of a meal that could make or break it on the healthful scale.
Whole wheat bread instead of white
8g of fiber vs 1-2g
Vegan butter instead of cow milk butter
3g saturated fat vs 7g
Cinnamon instead of cinnamon sugar
0g added sugar vs 4-6g
Whole blueberries instead of juice
2g fiber vs 0g
It takes the same amount of time to prepare either way, but the difference in healthfulness is huge.

A sweet and savory breakfast bowl is my go to breakfast by far 🤗 You can just make them with anything you’ve got on hand and that just makes things so easy 💯 Sundays are grocery shopping days so Sunday meals are always just whatever is left in the fridge 👌🏻 Luckily I keep this bread in the freezer so it stays good for a long time 😎 I also found a kiwi hiding in the back of the fruit drawer 🥝 So I made a cute little kiwi flower 🤗 The perfect easy breakfast 🍳 Full of healthy fats, carbs, and protein 🙌🏻 Heading to get ready for church, then doing typical Sunday things like grocery shopping and meal prepping 😌 Nothing too exciting over here! Sweet potato toast 4 ways this morning 😎 Went a little extra with these toasts this morning but you know sometimes you’ve just got to have a little fun with things 💁🏼♀️ Prepped this sweet potato last night while we watched Impractical Jokers (the dumbest show ever but I could watch it for hours 😂😂) This has to be the best sweet and savory combo I’ve ever made 😍 Eli and I spilt these toasts, I took the savory and he took the sweet buttt I definitely stole a few bites of his PB toast 🤭 How could I not with those honey swirls?! 😉 Japanese sweet potatoes are way over priced but dang are the GOOD. I’d never heard of them before I started my food Instagram but now that I’ve discovered them, I’m addicted 😅 If they weren’t more expensive than regular sweet potatoes, I’d never look back 😎 I always try to be as honest as possible on here about what I eat/don’t eat on my plates because I can remember when I wasn’t in the best place with food and looking at others pages and thinking “there’s no way she eats all of that” 🤦🏼♀️ So, no I didn’t eat all of this, I had the two savory pieces and a few bites of the sweet 🙌🏻 It’s what works for me and just a reminder that every single person is different ❤️ Just here to show you easy (and sometimes a little extra 😜) healthy meals but by no way am I saying this is the best/only way to eat! Baked it at 400F for 40 mins. From top to bottom: Fried egg, micro greens, and @traderjoes everything but the bagel seasoning + organic PB with honey swirled in + 1/2 avocado with red pepper flakes 🥑 + grass fed yogurt with warmed blueberries and @gr8nola ❤️
