Senin yolun-Omer EKINCI
***Herkes neleri yapman, neleri yapmaman gerektigini soyluyor.Oysa onlar seninle ayni ruyalari gormuyor.
Hayat zor, gercekten zor.
Bugun geri kalan hayatinin ilk gunu, yeni hayatina hos geldin.

- Hi! Who are you?
- I'm the Little Prince 3000.
- How did you know about the prince?
- The book was carried by space rubbish. There is so much garbage from people, it’s impossible to shovel it.
- And how did you learn the language?
- Guess it.
- Also garbage?
- Are you alone on this asteroid?
- Yeah, alone. My dream is to fly to your planet. Do you take me with you?
- Ah, what should I say to the center?
- I have the Little Prince 3000 on board, - I say.
- What? - they will ask again. - What a nonsense, sir! What are you talking about?
And then: «Look, look». - And I'm showing you at the camera.
- Please, take me to the legendary Earth.
- I can’t do it, prince, - There is only one place on the rocket.
- I'm little, I'll fit everywhere.
- Well, okay, carry your things.
-I'll be there in a moment, sir, - the little boy rejoiced, and ran to get ready.
- I’ve known about it. Won’t be able to take your cactus, it’s too big. We should leave it.
- It's not a cactus, - the prince took offense. - A rose.
- Also we leave pot, pans; there is crockery on the Earth.
- And what or who is it?
- This is my friend, there is no way without him.
The boy held an unknown and unusual substance in his hands.
Who or what opened his mouth and said:
- He's responsible for me.
- I see, - the cosmonaut said. - She's impudent and ill-mannered.
- Yes, sir, - yawned Who or What.
- No, they will not let us go on the Earth.
- I'm good, really, I'll clean the Earth.
- The earth is big, guy.
- Big, - the boy was surprised. - I thought the Earth was your planet.
- No, silly, we are already fifteen billions.
- Fifteen billions astronauts?
- No, there are people with different professions. There are people from cosmonauts to janitors.
- I want to be a janitor.
- It’s really honorable, - the astronaut smiled. - Well, okay, say goodbye to your home, and we should fly.

What’s your favorite food?
Well, that’s a tough question🙈 I tricked myself there😂 Honestly, it depends on the mood! But some of my favorites are potatoes (in any form!), chocolate chip cookies, sushi and ramen😍 and chocolate is always a favorite🤤 Food is the best🙌
So those of you who follow my stories see how much food I’ve been posting there the last few days🙈 It’s truly unusual! I just had a week where I had a lot of stuff going on and I ended up in Tel Aviv 3 times😱 which is a lot! And there’s such great foods in Tel Aviv🤤
I still haven’t read Shatter Me😭 I want to so much! I follow Tahereh Mafi on Instagram and she and Ransom are literally relationship goal! And it makes me want to read and love her books even more (which is saying a lot because I really wanted to from the beginning!) But other books keep pushing in and disturbing my line, and unfortunately the Shatter Me binge I’m dying to do will have to be postponed to 2019😭
Well day one of #25inFive (25 hours or reading in five days) did not go well for me. I only managed to read for 30 mins yesterday 🙈 That's okay though, today is a new day and I will have some time this evening for reading. I'm still working on The Winters which I am really enjoying so far. If I can I'd like to pick this beauty up for the challenge as well. The Dreamers comes out in January and it's about about, "a college town transformed by a strange illness that locks victims in a perpetual sleep and triggers life-altering dreams." I mean what else do you need to know? ⠀
What are y'all up to this weekend? Reading anything good?⠀

I consider myself to be one of the most optimistic people on God’s green earth. I hardly ever lose faith, but I’ve noticed lately that I’ve been praying, but not really. I realized that I was just going through the motions.
A few days ago, after speaking to groups of homeless and the lesser fortunate, I found myself getting depressed. My faith lessened as I watched these people because I wanted to do more for them. I even got mad at myself because I thought, “why wasn’t I doing this work when I had money?” I then stopped and took a deep breath. I was about to head down the same path I was on years ago, thinking money could solve any problem. During that deep breath, I found a new clarity. I realized that I was doing exactly what God wanted me to do, but I was trying to force Him to work on my time, not His.
For now, I’ll continue to do this work at His pace, not knowing for sure what the results will be, but knowing He’s guiding me. During that breath, I dug deep and found peace again. Since then, my prayers are genuine, and I feel a new connection with God.
My entire message of hope revolves around two things. Find God, and then use the talent that He has given us to work our way through the problem we’re faced with. It sounds easy, but it’s not.
Simply keep forging ahead because there is a Heavenly reward at the finish line to those doing His work.
Take a deep breath, listen, and do the best you can. That’s all He wants.

"Grief is a most peculiar thing; we're so helpless in the face of it. It's like a window that will simply open of it's own accord. The room grows cold, and we can do nothing but shiver. But it opens a little less each time, and a little less; and one day we wonder what has become of it."
- Arthur Golden / Memoirs of a Geisha
Sorry guys I don't have reading updates atm. But given the current situation, I haven't been in the right mental state to read atm. I'm still trying to process everything and figure out how to deal with the way I'm grieving.
I want to try to get back into reading soon tho. Cause I feel like diving into a new world and forgetting about my troubles for a while.
Today is the start of the #25inFive reading challenge and I am equal parts excited and nervous. I have never successfully completed this challenge. 🙈 I have a few social obligations over the next few days that will make it challenging, but I am still going to give it a go. I am starting off the challenge by finishing up The Winters and then I plan to pick up The Wildlands. I think these will both make it easy to stay motivated. Are you participating in the challenge? What are you planning to read this weekend?⠀
Revival is one of my absolute favourites by King. It is so good! The nods to Mary Shelley, August Derleth and especially H. P. Lovecraft (mortals always messing with things far beyond their understanding) warm my heart and are very well done, so if you didn't know about them you wouldn't think twice about a certain sentence, but if you do it makes you smile & appreciate what the authors did for the genre. King mentions 'The Great God Pan' in the beginning, which I highly, highly recommend you read, it is very short but insanely good.
The characters are so likable, even if they make bad choices and my heart goes out to them, which is something I love about Kings writing. Read the book for the characters if you don't care for the story and you will not be dissapointed. Sometimes I still think of the accident that takes places, which hardly covers a whole page but affected me non the less. The scene that the characters describe as 'The Terrbile Sermon' is one of Kings best moments in my opinion. I will never tire of Revival. It is almost better the second time around, because I notice all the ominous hints and things that are being said.
