We have some big news to make.....we’d like to welcome our 4th and final flock member Toffee 🐦 !!! Ever since we decided to keep Bailey, we always knew that we would one day get our 🐝 a companion, since she has been following around her parents for the last 1.5 years which as you guys may already know, is not very welcome by her mom Daffy especially 😂 Toffee is a 6 weeks old turquoise opaline. He’s the shyest birbo I’ve met but most importantly, Bailey and Toffee are warming up to each other. We actually got Toffee last week, but agreed with her breeder we will take him on condition that Bailey accepts him, and he is!!! We will be bringing Toffee to her new bird check up tomorrow, and slowly working to gain his trust and increase his confidence 😘
The feathers of male Indigo Buntings often look dark, but good sunlight brings out their brilliant blue color.⠀ When colors are this vibrant, Scott likes to keep his subject smaller in the frame to include more of the environment.⠀
Many thanks to Scott Suriano, @sasphotography67, for providing this week's stunning images for the #AudubonTakeover.
