So...I found myself under a clam shack of sorts, ankle deep in seawater in a marsh with the tide coming in, taking photos of barn swallows that kept going beneath the building that was up on pilings..this was after several in flight shots of them swooping hither thither and yon about the marsh without anything of quality close up. I'll post the original too. They never sit down, so it was nice to see a few perched.
At this time of year when puffins are returning to our shores. There are so many Puffin images posted that yes are pleasing on the eye but are not going to break the wheel. I have a folder with thousands of these images. But with a species that’s been so well photographed I would much rather take a risk and post an image like this than post another average puffin which would get lost in the masses. Well anyways hope you like this different take on the Atlantic Puffin.
