One thing for certain. You care a shit ton less. .
It does seem trivial. But trust me. Body image disorder & disordered eating are strong habits & patterns that not even cancer can keep at bay. It some ways it can trigger those patterns even more. .
There are moments of vulnerability that I catch myself in the mirror and think. Fuck I need to keep up with training.
They are fleeting. Cos I think I've built up such strong foundations to fuxk off any weird body image thought I have, so early on.
One of those structures I have in place is seeing my bod. Taking a pic. And sharing it. In many angles. Sometimes posed with good lighting and pulled up knix and other times.
Unposed, in angles not aligned with instas chic, curated feeds & I just sit with it. It my skin. For people to scroll past or to double tap.
I don't quite care.
But our feeds need the reality. I'm sure of it. .
This is me. A week since hearing the news of my mum, I've trained it once. I've not got enough protein or water (I am working on the water) I'm stressed and due on and this is my body during that.
This. Is. My. Body. .
Ya know how grateful I am for it. Not cos I can still buy clothes in high street stores. I know #bopo peops want to always remind me of my own privilege.
But I'm grateful for its health. I'm grateful for it being here, so far, as healthy as it is. .

But fuxk what you body looks like if its keeping you alive. That. We have to be so grateful for.

I'm an absolute divil for looking at the number on a scales and beating myself up when it doesn't change after a week of killing myself.. From the beginning I was told take pictures every week and go on them as well as the scales and now looking back I'm glad I did. Between both pics I'm only down a couple of kg but my shape has completely changed couldn't have been done without the help from @damolocke and @lifestylefitnesspt (sorry Al for more nudes 😂) it's crazy what our bodies can achieve in such a short time frame looking forward to this weekend with the girls and Amsterdam during the week and then gonna smash another 6 weeks and see can I get myself a bikini bod for Dubai 👙 ☀.. I was pretty much starving myself before I started this a few week's back.. now iv learned to love food again and look at it all differently which then I'm getting the energy I need to train 5/6 times a week sometimes 7 but I get in trouble for that 😂 But it did help me lose a chin or two along the way 💁💃

Mannnn do these ever get easier? 😂 I was thinking today, another reason I love exercising is because it completely changes our perception on time ⏰ Think of how long time seems to last when you’re holding a plank, using the ropes, sprinting during that last minute, or holding a squat!! Time seems to slow right down. And I love this! It almost pauses life for a short time — the outside world becomes irrelevant. How cool is that?!💫

Does anyone else fall asleep in weird places? 😂 If we drive more then 15 minutes I fall asleep in the car 🤷♀️ I'm like a baby.....it puts me to sleep. Or whenever we go for a hike in timber I want to lay against a tree.....dirt and all....and fall asleep to the sounds of nature ⛰ ......😂 or the one time I buried into the snow after trail running and wanted to stay there and take a nap. Am I the only one??
