Last week Colby asked me if I enjoy working with him and being around him all the time or if I ever got tired of always being together, doing everything together.. I said no. I quite enjoy and look forward to spending each day together. He then responded and said oh great... Cause I sure never need a break from you❤️ AWE❤️ I know each couple is different and that is OK! No relationship is ever the same! But I do believe that no matter how different each marriage is, that each marriage is a beautiful blessing from God. That a marriage is beyond the wedding day. It is a journey and adventure to make choices together and to grow together as not two, but one. One team. One life together. What a beautiful gift to have. I love that.

I just need to take a minute to brag on our POUND family!!! This morning I was planning to cancel classes this evening, but then I thought I better ask all of you. The overwhelming YES to class forced me out of my sweats and into workout gear!! 😄💪You all are hardcore ROCKSTARS!! Some of you pounded at home and that is total dedication too! 💚 I love the accountability and support that we offer to each other!

Awesome sermon series to kick off the year at FreeLife! #cometochurchwithme and make Sunday the #bestdayoftheweek. Our church’s theme this year is “better together.” And, it is so true. At home, at work, we are all #bettertogether. God commands it and celebrates togetherness. @imready4ever and I have experienced so much growth together in our couple of years at FreeLife. The biggest areas in which I have grown is faith, trust in God and loving others. Not every day is going to be sunshine’s and rainbows (s/o to Rocky), but with God, there is a Hope (Jer 29:11). With faith, there is a future (Matthew 7:20). And, when we find ourselves in those moments of lack of trust, insecurity and faith, we need to elevate our focus, #bebold and seek Him, for His favor goes out before us. And love of other people. Serving others as part of our usher ministry has been such a blessing. First it helps me stay disciplined to come each Sunday. Next, it scratches that #sheepdog itch from long ago. As the days get darker, and the more you wake up before the sun even rises, you might start feeling a persistent low mood or lack of energy. You may be struggling to concentrate and it’s possible you may even find less pleasure doing your usual activities.
These symptoms could mean you’re suffering from Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), which is very common and can affect people from all walks of life.

I have had a chance to get away from with our family and some friends and it has reminded me how important it is to take time for yourself. I was able to workout and check in with our virtual group while still getting some extra rest and down time. I’ve been thinking about this a lot the past few weeks. Worry is a strange thing, it consumes our time but isn’t productive at all. The challenge I’ve put to myself this year is to stop when things aren’t going to my plan and think “is worrying about this situation actually worth my time?” I know that there will be plenty of moments where I could choose worry, but p e a c e is going to be what I’ll put on this year 🕊

Honestly, not wanting to let our body guide food choices because we’re afraid we’ll go nuts (and then gaining weight) is the most common >> DEEPER << worry that keeps us from following our instincts with eating. ♥️ It was mine for years and was concern for this client in particular, too.
The exciting breakthrough we discovered around her connection to food is how much was tied to feeling uncomfortable in most of her clothes. And when we’re in that “me vs. my body” mindset, getting dressed can feel like we’re putting gas on the fire...
Which is why - along with giving herself permission to eat freely - I held her accountable for creating permission with her WARDROBE, too. 💃🏽
