🌳 With the amazing tree blossom happening ATM I decided to have a week devoted to Honeyeaters! .
This is a gorgeous Fuscous Honeyeater peering round the tree at Mount Annan Botanic Gardens in south-west Sydney. They feed mainly on insects, invertebrates and nectar in the foliage of trees and shrubs.

Adult Male Blue-winged Leafbird (Chloropsis moluccensis) is a fairly common species at forest edge which favour canopy. I was lucky enough to see this male from a group of 5 or 7 went down for fruits and perched for several seconds before flew up.
