Highlight of our series is the most famous and at the same time most secretive #celebritys#hotspot in #berlin - the #adlon
With 300 noble rooms and 80 suits it is one of the most exclusive hotels of the world. Already after its first opening 111 years ago it was THE hotspot for royals like the German emperior or the Russian czar, politicians like Franklin D. Roosevelt and Paul von Hindenburg, industry tycoons like John D. Rockefeller and Henry Ford, entertainment stars like Charlie Chaplin or Marlene Dietrich and many further celebrities like Albert Einstein, Edgar Wallace or Richard Strauss
The Adlon #unterdenlinden burnt out completely at the end of World War II and was later blown up by the former #gdr government cause of its closeness to the #berlinwall.
The hotel was reopened 100 years after the first opening by the German President Roman Herzog and lives up to its earlier success since then. Obama came for lunch after its famous speech at the #brandenburgertor. The Dalai Lama stayed here and Queen Elisabeth II. Brangelina, Harrison Ford, Nicolas Cage, Ashton Kutcher, Demi Moore, Michael Jackson and many more celebrities were already guests of the Adlon Hotel.
Especially state guests value the special security features of the president suites like steel-reinforced walls and doors, bullet-proof windows, 20 rooms for bodyguards and police 24/7 behind the hotel cause of the British embassy next door. If you wanna give it a try you should have the necessary small change. Price for a president suite is between 10.000 and 20.000 Euros per night.
Off to meet a new client, @suzyvamusic for a brand meeting. We're building a new website and adjusting her brand slightly. Exciting!
Loving the simplified schedule which definitely fits a very busy working schedule at Blacklane, my primary employer.
In other news, I've got the first #featuresession of the season at #theoblomovsessions tomorrow night, featuring good friends @benwuyts and @charlescleyn. Going to be excellent! Hope to see you all there!
This is the band enjoying absolute silence amid the trees somewhere deep in the middle of nowhere. We went for three days preparing for the album. We finished up our initial recording sessions at the fantastic @thefamousgoldwatch Berlin last week. We got experimental, emotional and downright strange. We need one more day to polish off the record, but the mountain top is in reach. Thanks to all the supporters and well-wishers. I'm proud of what we've done together.
Catch me playing a solo date tonight @Bushsegler in Pankow - starts 6pm. Come and see the aftermath of the #prickandthepetal studio sessions! #berlinlive#berlinevents#berlinlivemusic
