You probably can't see it, but it's snowing. It's the PRETTIEST ever. Soft. Calm. Minimal. God is showing me the beauty in this winter right now. When it's been hard to look past the massive drifts outside and the what seems like continuous snow fall. God is so good. Even when we don't want to see it.
Day 3 of #greetthegrower flatlay thanks to @sowedgier Despite the wind 🌬 violently shaking my polytunnel it’s still standing (as we speak) which is in great thanks to my uncle Tim who helped me put it up, he’s used to putting up polytunnel with gusts of 50mph blowing against them on the Falkland Islands. I love the pink veins on this wallflower they are so delicate!
It’s day 2 of #greetthegrower I’m a day late to the challenge, but I thought I would give it a go. My earliest memories of gardening is when I would go to my Gran’s house, we would always be out in the garden doing something and it’s the greatest gift she could have given me (side to the left 👩🏼🌾) So how did I start... with a lot of help from my family and trusty boyfriend we cleared a small field and rabbit fenced it although on a couple of occasions I have had to chase a bunny out of the gate 🏃♀️🐇
I’m constantly reminded of how lucky I am and remain grateful for the career choice I made years ago.
After making sure that work related things such as calls and emails to clients are taken care off, I get to go and spend the afternoon outside. Capturing moments like these, being outdoors and on my own time is something that truly makes me happy.
It was really quite magical being up here yesterday ☃️
Hard to believe that in a few months guests will be enjoying long evenings around the outdoor fire whist swallows swoop across the meadow ! .
I do love the seasons 🙌
