“I make a point to never, ever point out my physical flaws… this is advice I give to women as often as I can. People don’t notice the things we see in ourselves that we hate, so why direct them to it?”
-Dita Von Teese
I look at myself and like all women I see so many flaws. Every evening I stare into this mirror, do my hair, my makeup and “that pep talk for the night.” I stare at beautiful women on Instagram asking myself why I’m not like them. As way to many of us women do.
Ladies you are all gorgeous!
Love your body, mind, heart and soul. Don’t let negativity and negative people overwhelm you. The negativity like yourself, will be be a part of this crazy grand adventure pestering you time and time again. But it’s ok. That’s what makes us human. And I promise you this, there is so much more positivity in this world than the negative.
Just start by looking in the mirror.
One of my favorite qualities about Nicolas was his story-telling. He had a story to share for any situation or event. Sometimes parts of the stories were fabricated or stretched for the sake of drama or humor, but that never mattered. It was entertainment at its finest.
I absolutely love to travel. Whether it’s within my own state or on different continents, I aspire to see as much of the world as I can manage (time and money wise). Nic and I didn’t how the chance to travel together very much, but I don’t let that deter me. Every time I go some place new I imagine what he and I would do, where we would eat, and even where we would lift. I never go to give shops to get an ornament or magnet to prove I’ve been somewhere. I bring home stories, memories, and maybe a few ideas for recipes. And I do my best to try to share them with others, just how Nic would. Still working on getting the delivery right... #adventure#swolemate#imissyou#livelikenic
Hands up if just like me you can’t help but visit this place everytime you go back to Abu Dhabi! How could you possibly not? #abudhabi 🌺
