the creative process: during the weekends I go back and forth between editing pictures and taking art classes. I feel like they somehow balance each other out, and one medium teaches me a lot about the other. I love abstract painting (the more abstract the better) and I follow and drool over a lot of other artists work online. I once heard a teacher say that in the beginning, you’ll make a lot of work that looks like someone else’s. I worked for hours on this and stood back and saw about four (or five) different things I had channeled from other people I admire. It was interesting to step back and as myself “Is this my voice?” I wanted to post about this because I think sometimes we channel the point of view of someone we like subconsciously, whether that’s in the way we dress or what we make. I’ll keep this little guy as a reminder as I press on to find my own voice in the creative process.
One of the most humbling and sobering visit to the slave chamber in Stone Town. I wonder if the humans ever learn to respect fellow humans regardless of race, colour and religion. We can only live and hope 🙏🏻

Like me, this door is looking shabby in it’s old age! Lol! Only kidding, well, only a little bit! But I think it’s time to make over this door again! 💕🥰🎈 this project will always hold a special place in my heart because it got me a #Pinterest award and isn’t that amazing??? 🤩

Me reitero conducir por Malta es de valientes!!! Pero la mezcla de manejar por la izquierda, a "la italiana" y por carreteras de cabras en mal estado merece la pena si te llevan a lugares como este.

Wondering around while walking home during a Saturday night can be inspiring. The city is silent, the streets are empty. Hidden corners can be surprising with their beauty made of history, legends and art. Berri Palace is one of those corners, one of my favourite ones. At center there is a scary sculpture, Winged Victory, made by Adolfo Wildt. Good night, while around.. 'the sound of silence'. 🎵
It's time for a cute door from French Riviera 💙. Isn't that the perfect combo? 😍
Peillon was such a nice surprise . Tiny and cute. If you're ever in the area put it on your map! #theprettycities

Of course we all know about the Sagrada Familia & the house of Gaudi but this vibrant city really has to offer a lot more. ✨ I didn’t know there was so much to see in this city and that it’s surrounded by the most beautiful scenery. ⛰

So we got a rental car for a day to drive to this wonderful monastery in Montserrat which was only a 50 mins drive from the city and we got the most incredible views from there 🏞 There were only a handful of other tourists and we almost felt like we traveled back in time walking around here ☺️
