For any basketball player who wants to have fun in their games, a strength and conditioning plan should be near the top of the list of daily priorities. Strength and conditioning is how YOU build your body to minimize the chance of injury. Strength and conditioning is how YOU develop the speed and explosive power that will help YOU on the court. There is no express train or cheat formula to take YOU to a strong, agile body overnight. It takes time. It's a grind. Fast players have worked hard. Players who have good foot work have worked hard. Players who are able to play both ends of the floor for an entire game have worked hard. YOU will need to do the same thing to have success in your game. NBA player Javale McGee (@javalemcgee) has a lean, strong body. He pays attention to the foods that he puts in his body and he maintains a consistent strength and conditioning routine all year. Javale McGee also gets enough rest every night so that his body can recover and have the energy to perform in games. If YOU want to be an elite player don't try to guess what YOU need to do. The information is available to YOU to read, to see and to imitate. Learn about nutrition and your body, figure out what works for YOU and then do that. TRAIN your MIND and body to PERFORM! #improvepractice#basketballneverstops#ballislife#basketball#nbabasketball#nba#nbaplayoffs#lalakers#lakers#lakers4life#lakernation#javalemcgee#basketballconditioning#basketballfitness#bball#basketballplayer#basketballpractice#basketballislife#basketballcoach#basquet#baloncesto#basketballfundamentals
Don't call it a comeback... Getting there.. 2 more months to go.. I still love going to the gym and putting up shots.. Just in my own world.. It's been a long 10 months since my ACL, lateral and medial meniscus and MCL tear.. Feels good getting it back..
"the only time I ever felt like a Coach was in 2006/2008 season with the @usiu_flames squad of that time. that squad gave their all. long hours of hardwork, individual work ethic, leadership, play hard-party hard mentality, study, blood, sweat and tears, literally tears in squad meetings. pain in social life and relationships. they lived the moment and left everything on the floor. they deserved victory 💯. since then I found more need to teach the game than to coach the game, because that squad made me a Coach! I was the youngest coach in the league. And the youngest in Zone V. they gave me my stripes. it was not always fun, but it made us all. follow their trails, you will see greatness on and off the court. to this day, teaching the game seems more ideal than Coaching. when the time is right, I will get back in the trenches and Coach again. they lived the game." .
