Met a guy who makes $824.10 every week after taxes. He's been at his company for 18yrs. I instantly thought, "damn! Lucky!" As the conversation goes on I find out he doesn't have a bank account (and as a banker I take personal offense to people not having an acct!) so he cashes his check, every week at a check cashing place (my heart falls to the floor!)
"How much do they charge you?
"$14!?!?!?!?!" I couldn't help but raise my voice. "Dude that's a lot! That's a meal! That's a late fee! That's gas money! You're losing so much!"
"Nah, it ain't that bad"
Oh my gosh I wanted to smack him. Not that bad?!?!?!
Let's do the math...
$14/week, that's $56/month!!!! Dude that's 2 Macy's payments!!! That's a great sushi night out with my friend AND a Hollywood souvenir!
That's $672/year!!!! That's a teeth cleaning AND Botox for my TMJ pain!
THAT IS $12,096 IN 18 YEARS!!!!!
THINK OF ALL THE POSSIBILITIES!!!! God, this pissed me off more than it should have, probably.
But how, HOW ARE YOU WASTING MONEY LIKE THIS!?!?! When I asked why he didn't open an account, "ugh, then I'd have to walk into a bank and eh, I don't know."
I swear I don't understand people. He wanted the loan to make ends meet...and he only wanted $300. YOU'D HAVE THAT IF YOU OPENED A DAMN BANK ACCOUNT!!!! Moral of the story? PLEASE be smart with your money; open a bank account, balance your checkbook (not just checks, ALL transactions!), save!!!
Secure your future.
What is a good credit score—and why should you care? A good credit score will depend on your lender's requirements, but a number of 700 or higher is likely your best bet.
Simply put, no number is more important to prospective car buyers or home buyers than their credit score. These three digits are a numerical representation of your track record paying off your debts, from credit cards to college loans. If you've applied for a mortgage to buy a home, lenders check your credit score. If it's high, getting a mortgage will be a breeze; if it's low, you may struggle.
So exactly what is a good credit score? Is 650 a good credit score? How about 730? Here's what all those numbers mean.
All scores 760 and above are considered to be in the best credit score range. Since this means you've shown an excellent ability to pay off your past debts, mortgage lenders want your business—and will try to entice you by offering loans with the lowest interest rates.
A good score is from 700 to 759; a fair score is from 650 to 699. Since a lower score means you've had some late payments or other dings on your credit history, lenders see you as more likely to default on your loan. They may still give you a car loan or a mortgage, but at a higher interest rate.
#bitcoin#economy#Messiah@LouisFarrakhan warns "Why are White America & Black America suffering loss?
Why are America and Black people not only losing, but every day the loss is being compounded because of the rebellion?
What kind of loss are you, and we, suffering because you refuse to accept the Knowledge of The Time, and act in accord with it?
Let us look at how you’re losing.
According to our research, here is the fall of this great nation:
Foreclosures and homelessness in America: About 3.9 million homes went into foreclosure in 2011; in 2010, 3.8 million; in 2009, 3.4 million; in 2008, 3 million. So in adding up these figures, it amounts to 13 million Americans who have lost their homes to #foreclosure in the last five years.
More than 3 million people are #homeless, and the fastest growing segment of the homeless population is families with children.
America’s banking systems: In 2008, 25 banks failed and were taken over by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (F.D.I.C.). In 2009, 140 banks failed; in 2010, 157 failed. And while there were 92 banks that failed in 2011, in contrast, 39 banks failed in 2012. However, in the five years prior to 2008: Only 11 banks had failed.
So, to date, you have almost 1,000 banks that have closed and were seized by the federal government.
The debt status of these ‘United States: The U.S. debt is now $16 trillion.
What about the condition of the states that we are living in?
Many of these states are on the verge of #bankruptcy, with several of them ready to declare a financial state of emergency. The budget gaps that states have had to close for fiscal year 2013, which began July 1, 2012, totaled $55 billion in 31 states—that amount is smaller than in past years, but not enough to say that the states and the economy are recovering."

A wise man once said of MoviePass, “It’s like having venture capitalists pay for you to go the movies!”. That same man also forgot his own advice and bought 300 shares of HMNY and regrets it dearly. P.S. I am the wise man #MoviePass#bankruptcy#toogoodtobetrue
