West Bali National Park is on the northwestern tip of Bali. The conservation area includes the mountainous Prapat Agung Peninsula and the surrounding coastal waters. Forests, mangroves and savanna protect rare animals like Bali starlings and bantengs, a species of wild cattle. Off the northeast shore of the peninsula, Menjangan Island is ringed by coral reefs and home to native barking deer and ancient Hindu temples.

Truth behind the photo: it took me 15 minutes to figure out how to hold the ore correctly, I almost fell into the water on 5 separate occasions, and it started pouring down rain seconds after this picture was taken. #worthit#bali#balicili#balipedia#balidaily#revolveme
