Exercise first thing in the morning before your brain realises what it’s doing!The number one excuse I hear from people when I say come and do a class in the morning is that “I’m not a morning person” Neither was I but over time my body has become accustomed to getting up at 430am every morning. It’s about being prepared, getting your gym clothes ready the night before, packing the lunch for work or the school kids lunches before bed, making sure you have set your alarm, multiple if you have to, going to bed early and it’s about getting into a routine making it a habit. It has to be CONSISTENT. It’s harder when you only get up once a week at 5am it’s easier to do it every day. Your body gets use to it. When you exercise early in the morning there’s no excuses in the afternoon if you have to stay back at work because you’ve already worked out. Exam day! Happy Thursday people! Happier than my day anyway! Today I have my final exam for my first year of psychology! Yay!
Enough of that though! This week I have worked out every day so far! 3 cardio sessions, 2 weights sessions and I am sore but happy. I would like to say that every time I was excited and motivated to move but I wasn’t. What I was though was fulfilling the promise I had made to myself. If you do not keep the promises you make to yourself...what do you think the likelihood will be that you will keep your promises to others? We are always creating habits, teaching ourselves behaviours. Are you aware of the decisions you are making? Do they seem small on the day but have created a big habit 3 months later? Be aware of the choices you make each day, they shape your future more than you realise.
Life has it ups and downs, just as a rollercoaster. One second you love the view and relaxation and the next second you just want to jump off, scream f it, turn back time and go back to bed. If you're living in a rollercoaster atm and just want to give up..
Don't! Life has so much more to give, think about the ups, where you can be, but don't forget where you are and where you came from! We're living this unike thing called life. L(i)ve it!

Internal processing and external processing thinking styles reflect how you interact with information. 📃 The way you form thoughts and ideas in your mind are unique to you. How cool is that?!?! 😍 YOU ARE one of a kind, my friend!! ❤️ So how do you digest information? I am an internal processor and I’ve had to learn to be proud of it. I love that I can think before I speak and process life from various perspectives! However, it also means I over think and so much is kept in my heart - this is why I have to journal haha
It’s super valuable for you to know how you naturally process conversations, information, deep thoughts and honestly, life in general!
It’s helped me so much to accept areas in my life that are part of my personality but also challenges me to explore areas in my life that I would personally like to grow in. Being a DEEP THINKER is a blessing and a curse haha and all the thinkers said, “AMEN!” Lol
We, internal processors, need time to think about our thoughts, we need time to evaluate! While external processors think their thoughts out loud! They process out loud and form thoughts and solutions as theyre speaking - it’s amazing haha
There isn’t a wrong or right way. But in your relationships - it would be incredibly beneficial for you to know where you stand and to communicate that.
I want to give you some tips! This doesn’t mean that I’ve got it figured out by any means but I have to remind myself of these! Here they go:
For internal processors:
-Remember to speak up even if your thought is not fully formed. It doesn’t have to be perfect.
-Ask for a break, or ask for more information if there isn’t enough clarity for you. I often do this in my relationships!
For external processors:
-Try to notice if you’re speaking a lot more than others. If you are, ask more questions. -Recognize that silence from internal processors means they are thinking deeply about it, it’s not that they’re not listening.

I use to literally eat carbs all day:
Bagel and cream cheese for breakfast ✔️
Sandwich for lunch ✔️
Pasta for dinner✔️
Alllll da carbs. It was no wonder why I was exhausted and bloated all the time. Don’t get me wrong, you 100% absolutely need cards in your diet, it’s your bodies main source of energy, plus carbs are delicious. I remember back in the day when I was doing one of my stupid weekly crash diets I was like “I’m gonna cut all carbs out!!” Literally 2 days later I had a pounding headache, body aches, sore throat and I looked up my symptoms and I actually had something called a “low carb flu”. You should NOT cut carbs out of your daily diet, just plan your meals a little differently. For lunch I had spaghetti squash with homemade tomato sauce and chicken sausage so that for dinner I can have chicken quesadillas 😋 and that my friends is called balance.
D🍩NUT know how I’m gonna make it through this week (how is it still Wednesday??), but all I can do is try my best 😅 just realizing now that I have a ton of stuff to do for tomorrow and Friday and feeling like there are not enough hours in the day for me to do it all. Instead of freaking out about it all and letting myself get all anxious and stressed, I’m just doing one thing at a time and going down my checklist ✅ It can be super easy to just think about EVERYTHING that you need to do and letting the stress of that make you feel defeated before you even begin. But, I’ve found that just setting small goals and only focusing my energy on one task at a time is so much more efficient both physically and mentally. “You don’t have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step” - MLK Jr. 💯
Politics have disturbed my peace , and probably the worst part is that i allowed it, I propelled it. My compassion broke, Ive betray my humanity. BUT, I’m passing through it. I will no longer “share “ political videos, articles or memes, and will refrain, again from the news. So please do not share it with me . We need to get honest with ourselves, check our thoughts, pay attention to the authority we give politics and media.. we must uplift, and CHOOSE differently . Instead, I will continue to begin each day with positive thoughts for myself, for my loved ones and for humanity . I will keep my thoughts in check because what I think , I become.
There will always be light and dark, each one of us having the capacity for both must CHOOSE to live in the light .. anger is exhausting, and my soul is tired of the hate. I have to stay in my heart. BE IN my heart. I’ve taken a close look at society and the nature of people in the past 2 years, myself included and from here, I take what I’ve learned with me. A person is only as strong as their capacity to recognize their own weaknesses, it doesn’t matter how dark the light gets my light can’t be distinguished, I work the light . #loveisthelight#balance#beinyourheart#livesacred

The other morning I discovered the magic of Berry & Beet Chia Seed Jam, and now I’m hooked. In a saucepan, I heated 1 1/2 cups frozen strawberries, 1/2 cook pre-cooked beets from @lovebeets, 1 tbsp chia seeds, and 1 tbsp water. I mashed everything together with potato masher and let the seeds absorb the liquid on a low heat setting. You can also blend everything if your having a hard time mashing.
You can find @lovebeets at most grocery stores (in with the pre-cut veggies usually) and they’re super convenient because they’re ready to eat out of the package - I find that whenever I buy uncooked beets, I never end up using them 😭
I put half of the jam on top of my oatmeal, then added some goji berries, blueberries, banana, peanut butter, vanilla bean coconut yogurt, and hemp seeds. The BEST breakfast.
