I am not the strongest there is, but I am the strongest I’ve ever been. I am not in competition with others. I am competing against myself and my old personal records.. trading in my accomplished goals for new ones. So when you go to the gym, don’t look at the person next to you and feel anxious, envious, embarrassed or proud. Instead, look at yourself, because who you are NOW is the only person you are trying to beat. #fitnessmotivation#fitness#fitnessgirl#strong#strongwomen#healthylifestyle#backattack
Pics on the left are from October 2011 when I first started lifting weights at age 17 (had a decent little base from doing calisthenics from age 11 to that point). Pics on the right are from the last week of this past November. I went from weighing in the mid 120s to chilling in the 160s. I'm never going to be the guy walking around 200lbs lean (I hate you both @akunne_matata@aesthetic_strength ), but I'm always happy to look back and see the progress I've made. In 2019 I'll be heading into my 8th year of lifting weights, and I'm excited to see what reasonable changes I can make.

BACK ATTACK ☠❌☠❌☠❌☠❌☠❌☠❌☠❌☠❌
Meine linke Schulter macht immer weniger Probleme und ich konnte heute sogar schon wieder Bankdrücken machen. Zwar nur mit 30kg eingestiegen, aber "better safe than sorry" ✌🏼
LETS BE REAL... We ALL want a tiny lil waist. I know I’m right lol
And instead of going through a painful surgery to get it done, How about you get your butt to the gym & work on your lats instead 🙃🙌🏽 HAHAHAHA .
ANYWAYS.. I absolutely LOVE lat exercises because not only does it make your back look sexy AF.. but it gives you the illusion of a small waist which of course, I also love. 👐🏽
Here’s what a typical back day looks like for me. I keep every movement SLOW & CONTROLLED because I really feel the activation in my lats that way. No need to go fast here. TAKE YO TIME! .
Have a fabulous Tuesday everyone! 😽

Happy Tuesday errbody🤩🎅🏼 here’s a lil back action for you babes😉be sure to double tap💚❤️ and save🎄
I’m not gonna lie to you guys, lately it’s been a struggle to get my lil booty to the gym. I have been so unmotivated and lazy and idk if it’s the holidays or just being busy. With that being said I’m pushing myself extra harder during my workouts and always remember there’s nothing a little pre-workout can’t fix😜
I have major goals I am working towards when I’m training and there are def gonna be days where you DON’T feel like doing your part. These are the days that test your accountability. These are the days that truly show how bad you want it. I just wanted to keep it real with you guys and tell you to keep PUSHING!!👍🏼😘
You always hear: never skip leg day, but how about: never skip back day! Your back is the foundation of your body, it's very important to keep it strong for a powerful core and posture. Love this workout!💪🏾❤️💯
Dumbbell pullovers from yesterday’s chest and back workout🤙
Haven’t done these in forever but the stretch you get on your chest and lats are incomparable!
This was a popular movement in the Golden Era of bodybuilding and a particular favorite of the goat @schwarzenegger 🐐 #tomeseefit#totalprofitness
BACK ATTACK •••
Probably my favourite kind of row; DB Rows. I love these cause there’s so many different ways you can do them. And they’re awesome with a bit more volume for a pump or intensity for strength.
This variation is with a semi-supinate grip, placing more emphasis on external rotation and allowing a nice juicy squeeze in the Lat and Rhomboid. Like any rowing movement, initiate the pull with scapula retraction and depression, taking care to keep tight on the eccentric and avoiding any rounding at the shoulder.
