I remind myself of this when procrastination has come knocking at my door. In recent weeks (thanks very much to #melrobbinsmindsetreset)I now am able to make small incremental moves forward towards my goals that completely eliminate the urge to procrastinate. I’ve gotten more done in the last 2 weeks than I’ve accomplished in the last 2 months. Seriously.
What are wanting to do but are hesitating?

My instincts should have been to get out of the way of the train.... Instincts, we are told, are what we should listen to, and in some cases, this is correct. The reason being, instinctually we want to survive. Survival is our most primal and foundational functions as humans. Our generic code is literally built on it.
However, if this is the case but you want to be more positive, grow your wealth, believe people are inherently good, let small issues roll of your back and truly not harbor resentment, etc..., well, then you have to fight your instincts.
Most men, especially alphas, think this way because it HAS served us appropriately to survive and not just survive, but we've thrived in hostile and intense situations.
However, when these thoughts of negativity flare up instinctually as our response to a situation like an argument with your spouse or when someone cuts you off in traffic, something really stupid and insignificant, it begins to create a ball of negativity that you can't escape and starts to permeate all areas of your life.
So, in these cases you WILL in fact have to fight your instincts if you truly want to develop a healthier, less negative and less stressful life.

When pulling thin wire- this technique is a must! Today’s improvement is the use of the glass cup to hold my other pvc pipe. I use to let the second pipe lay on the table and spin. But that was problematic because it would jump all over the place. This new addition to the technique is funny to me because this idea 💡is a crossover from a sewing 🧵trick! Using a cup/mug for holding thread is a cheat if your spool is to large for your sewing machine. I love when one hobby effects the other hobby! This will be constant from now on! 😉
MVP at work. Store manager got 4 awards for the 4th quarter of 2018. Got my promotion end of November and the award today. God blesses in abundance! We led out district with only 4 people working nearly everyday. Hard work pays off. I've come so far from where I was a year ago and I am so thankful to be blessed.
