To maintain a steady speed along the flight path in a climb, additional Thrust is required to balance the backward component of Weight. This additional Thrust required is called Excess Thrust.
Excess Thrust is the Thrust available from the engine(s) after aerodynamic Drag is balanced.
it can be seen that the forward acting force in green, is now the same as the two rearward acting forces in red and the aeroplane will maintain a steady speed along its new flight path. To maintain a steady climb with no loss of speed, Thrust must balance not only the aerodynamic Drag, but also the backward component of Weight.

Life was, for a while, stripped of its artificialities; other worldly states seemed quite unimportant compared to the state of the wind, the sky & the length of the day's run ✈🌤🏝
Bantayan is one my favorite but challenging airports I land to, it's unpaved and super narrow. 😱 but the view here never fails to amaze me.
Every. Single. Time. 🏝⛱

Dream ) As I often hear - I dreamed of becoming a pilot, but could not (. I still understand people who didn't pass on health , but people who only say that dream and do nothing for this purpose - I don't understand!
Let's replace the word "dream "with the word"goal"!
And the word I "I" - I "can" ! And start to realize your goals!
More than 400 air pilots were suspended last year following prosecutors’ checks, Prosecutor-General Yuri Chaika told the Prosecutor-General’s Office board meeting on Tuesday.
“In order to ease the role of human errors in air crashes we continued inspections of civil aviation flight schools. A total of 425 air pilots were suspended until the elimination of various violations. Two training centers were closed down. The air transport agency Rosaviatsiya annulled 160 flight certificates,” Chaika said.
After two fatal crashes of Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, the US government has ordered to review the approval of Boeing 737 MAX 8 plane issued by the FAA. Doubts are arising over the ability of the US to set global safety standards.
Elaine Chao, the US transport secretary requested an independent inspector to audit the certification process of the currently grounded aircraft. The approval of the Boeing 737 MAX 8 was issued in 2017.
After reading out “black boxes” of the Ethiopian Airlines, officials said that it has “clear links” with Lion Air crash which also involved Boeing 737 MAX 8 plane, thus, now a focus is put on the process which was followed in order to validate the plane.
While the FAA is waiting for software updates from Boeing to be approved and later implemented on the MAX aircraft, aviation authorities worldwide are rising questions regarding their own processes of working with the FAA.
New destinations! This week I will fly to Tel Aviv and Buenos Aires✈🌏. I am excited, because I have never been to these places. Does anyone know nice places to go (especially in Buenos Aires)? 😃🤩 #crewlife#stewardess#cabinattendant#lovemyjob
