We've moved up to @cygnetbaypearlfarm to enjoy what can only be described as a tropical resort style camping experience.
It's very warm, but that infinity pool and an open window in the tent certainly does the trick. $45 a night here, but access to all of their facilities.
The kids have settled in to #tentlife

You just never know what you're gonna find hiding in the forest!! Straying from the beaten path has been our favourite thing to do since we started travelling and you'll be surprised what it can lead to!
We no longer own a school bus, but that doesn’t mean the adventures stop here. We’ve been busy exploring a completely different part of Australia in our little yellow Hiace Wally. We were super lucky to have this place to ourselves before the crowds started piling in. This was most definitely our favourite of the main attractions along @greatoceanroad. The cliffs are completely mind blowing and although we’d seen multiple pictures of this place it didn’t disappoint.
For all of you wanting closure on The Jah Bus’ journey, stay tuned for our next post introducing his new owners. 😉
🎉Yeahh, 2000 followers! Thanks guys for following my adventures, the likes, shout-outs and comments😍 .
Today is also a sad day. Cause it is the last day I can enjoy my visit with my parents as they will fly back home tomorrow morning while I will start a new job in the outback. .
We went to have a swim in the 25c wate today, having an Aussie BBQ and done some last souvernir shopping. .
Besides that I showed them wild crocs, parrots and kangaroo's, heeps of beaches, mountains, waterfalls, herritage of Queensland, lots of birds, snorkeling on the Great Barrier Reef, much more and let them drive on the left side on the road for once😂 .
It was great to give my parents this gift as they never flew in their lives and never seen over 3 EU countries. I also havn't seen them in the last 20 months. My dad got retired two weeks ago so it was a great start for him enjoying life. My mom lost 50 kg of weight since I saw her last. If I had the money, I would take them everywhere. .
And because of the 2000 follow celebration, I made a new banner🎉 "Free hugs" for everyone. I will use it more in future and maybe make a new one when reaching 3000 followers😉💪 .
I will fly close to Cape York(tip of Australia) tomorrow to work as a headchef in a Roadhouse for a few months, 2600km to the closest city😅 Only accesable by dirtroads. Luckely my boss pays for the flight haha👌 .
Anyway, long story short: Thanks guys for bearing with me❤ I will have heeps of more stories and post's to come. Thanks!
I write epic long captions and tedious mind fucks because in many ways this photo based social media platform ended up becoming my public journal. What an irony? Just like me. It's my #catharsis . A caption that is seen by the strangest of strangers. There's something to be learnt there.
What's your dream #destination and what's holding you to go there?
We'd been dreaming to enjoy the pristine Australian beaches for years. We finally got to see them and they are exactly as we imagined!
We always thought #Australia was too expensive to travel, but we found a way to live our dream and be on the road for a whole year! (And there's going to be a second year too)
💭 Sometimes our biggest obstacle is ourselves.
What's your story? 📝
