if you told me at the beginning of the year that this year I would be sell my Ute I would have laughed at you and said not a chance but little did I know that I would not only be selling it but I would be building a new touring vehicle how this all came about and was decided upon was when I was in hospital after an attempt at taking my own life because I had enough of living and wanted out. In hospital I had plenty of time to think about were did my life really take a turn for the worse and when did I let my depression and anxiety take over my life. living with anxiety and depression is such a bloody challenging situation I basically let it consume my life and withdrew from friends and worst of all I stopped traveling because most days I was too scared to leave the house in fear of things that I look back at now and laugh at how petty they were but when I was in hospital I decided I needed to start fresh and get back out there and start exploring again so I decided to sell the Ute and buy a wagon so I could have the dogs sitting with me to keep me company on them long days behind the wheel and most off all I wanted to build my ultimate touring vehicle by doing a dual cab chop on this wagon so the build is going to be pretty mental with no expense spared so keep and eye out to see how the black dog build turns out
Day 13: I can’t get enough of Melbourne! Today I met up with @monicauribea for lunch on the Yarra River.**I walked around Queen Victoria Botanical Gardens and admired several statues along the way.**I wanted to check out The Shrine of Remembrance (war memorial) and was lucky to catch a five minute service in honor of those who lost their life serving their country.**I walked back towards the city and took a tour at the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art. Saw some pretty cool and modern paintings from local artists as well as art from all over the world.**I was extremely disappointed when I found out the play I have been wanting to see for years, Evita, (the first play I was ever in) was cancelled!! ... But instead I had dinner with my wonderful family and enjoyed Kangaroo for the first time. I must say it was delicious and I will be having some more before the end of this trip. ** Another day full of adventure and I feel extremely blessed for this trip of a lifetime. ❤️ #enjoyingeverymoment#aussieexplorer#gdaymate 🇦🇺
