! Atraxa Super Freinds !
Deck by @benjamincortezm
This Atraxa deck relies on heavy early game ramp to play multiple Walkers later in the game.
#Suntitan is a great creature for this deck because he allows let's you block with your smaller creatures(wood elves, sakuma tribe elder, fairhaven elf) so you can get them back later and benefit from their enter the battle field.
He also allows you to get your 3CMC #walkers from the graveyard.
#Aminatou not only works great with Sun titan but becomes a powerhouse when paired with #Deepglowskate.
In addition to blinking creatures, you can also blink your best walkers to reuse their best ability or simply resetting their loyalty counters.
And I can't forget to mention that you can also blink all of the oath enchantments for more value.
#Teferisprotection and #cyclonicrift are all star when it comes to saving your walkers or yourself from massive attacks or scary boardstates. .
#DoublingSeason is of course the only reason I made this deck. This allows you to ultimate most of your walkers the moment they enter the battle field. It also goes infinite with #JaceCunningCastaway however you do need to wait one turn before actually killing your opponents since I do not have an haste enablers. .
This decks main focus is to win by overwhelming your opponents with multiple walkers until they either #scoop or #getsalty.
Nonetheless it's a really fun deck, (for you, not your opponents) and I recommend it for anyone to try.
Please let us know what you think of the deck in the comments below.
What should I cut to upgrade?
I have 3 commander decks that people seem to think are very scary.. So I have built this fish deck. Its commander is Atraxa mostly for the colours (but I can cast her!) And this is most certainly a WIP, many cards I don't own that I want for it, many cards that are used in other decks (well three from Modern Fish) my mana base is really screwy as well...
But over all this shouldn't be a deck to fear ^_^
Behold! The Ambassador sent by new phyrexia, created to form unity and bring "peace" to all the incomplete lifeforms in the multiverse. The praetors formed her out of their flesh, blood and mana.
This deck she is bringing to the table, can be quite political, harsh and even punishing. Yeah ithas its weakspots... Everyone does. It is an deck compromised almost fully out of enchantments, only one artifact and one other creature in it.
Zur, longed for perfection, so he bonded with new phyrexia to achieve the true state of perfect.
Together the roam the multiverse, "recruit" new followers or as atraxa prefers to say: " open theire eyes to the wonderous perfection of new phyrexia!" I have build an enchantress style deck, but wanted to be creative about it. Season of the witch is where it all started. Prison effects that prevent me from getting Attacked add the political factor. They have to attack if the want to live... But they cant come to me. I have added a lot "fun" and unusual enchantments, like teferis realm, divine intervention and other old pieces of magic that are almost unknown... One of my favorit combos in black is combining death pits of rath and pestilence. It is an one mana boardwipe xD
My only win condition is Divine intervention... It creates a draw, which means all players lose the game. To prevent me from losing i run angels grace and stunning reversal.
And last but not least, i was going for style, so i used only unglued basic lands :3 and that sweet, swedt command tower i won from an blind giveaway, done by @thatglobalforestguy
Was able to bust out 5 games with the homie @chottt last night. Ended 3-2 losing both rounds to his #NezahalPrimalTide#commander deck.
First game was between #JodahArchmageEternal and Nezahal and things were looking pretty good until he used Rite of Replication to make 5 copies of my Angel of Sanctions and exiling my entire board. .
2nd match was between #AtraxaPraetorsVoice & #YevaNaturesHerald. .
I Was able to land 3 early oaths one curve then drop an Atraxa that took it down. .
Next round was Jodah vs Yeva.
Jodah went a little wild once he hit the board and brought some Eldrazi, a dragon, and a dino out to play. Needless to say, Jodah got there.
Round 4 was #NekusarTheMindRazer vs #TheScarabGod. .
Turning point in this game was when he cast Dark Deal and in response I bounced his only creature with Cyclonic Rift and then Vampiric Tutored for #PhyrexianObliterator. After it got countered just reanimate with The Scarab God and that was pretty much game.
Final round #DarettiScrapSavant vs Nezahal. .
Tyler was able to keep Daretti off the board, and after the casting him a forth time he was able to swing and get through with enough commander damage to win the game and end the night.
This dude is the reason I play as much Magic as I do and has always been the best of buds. Thanks dude! #mtgcommunity#mox_emerald_scott_commander_battles#mtgcommander#mtg#magicnerds#magicthegathering
