📍Atlantic Ocean, Florida 💙
Oradayken bunun cevabini aldigimi sanmistim. Ama simdi oradaki fotograflarima baktikca daha iyi anliyorum; insan nerede olursa olsun, yalnizlik, belirsizlik, stres gibi gibi tum kotu dis kosullarina ragmen mutlu olmayi, keyif almayi, yeni yerde yeni aliskanliklar edinmeyi, yaaa orda da soyle yapardik diyebildigi her yeri guzel hatirliyor ve ozluyor. Orasi iyi burasi kotu, burasi mukemmel orasi berbat oldugu icin degil.
I have only one thing to do, and that’s be the wave that I am and then sink back into the ocean. #fionaapple
Anyone else feel at home by the ocean?There’s something about how big it is and how small I am that brings me peace. .
When you’re fighting something like adrenal fatigue, finding PEACE is so important. This photo is from our family vacation a few years ago when I was in the throes of my diagnosis. I wasn’t used to resting. My life was go go go until you couldn’t anymore, and then push through to go again. NOT healthy!
Our bodies are designed to tell us when something is wrong- not just physically wrong, but emotionally, spiritually, relationally- which is incredible. I didn’t listen to mine, so it shut down on me. Back then I would have said it was without warning- but I just didn’t want to pay attention to the warning signs.
There are 3 MAJOR KEYS that helped me on my road to healing from adrenal fatigue:
* 1 - STOP EXERCISING
* 2 - SAY “NO” MORE
* 3 - REST
If you’re anything like me, those 3 things can sound impossible. Maybe you don’t have a choice— maybe, like mine, your body is literally forcing you to do nothing. You don’t have the energy. The strength. The motivation. I’ve BEEN THERE. Embrace it!
Recovery from AF is sloooow. Trying to rush it will only lengthen the process. LEAN INTO the recovery process instead. Let go of the guilt of taking a break. Your body will thank you for it.

There have been times, lately, when I dearly wished that I could change the past. Well, I can’t, but I can change the present, so that when it becomes the past it will turn out to be a past worth living! Most people regret the things they didn’t do, than those they did. If you could go back in time and take a chance, would you? #throwback#usa#newjersey#atlanticocean#sunset#shipbottom ❤️
🌊🌊🌊 This natural-color image captured May 17 near the coast of Guinea-Bissau in West Africa show estuaries branching out like a network of roots from a plant. With their long tendrils, the rivers meander through the country’s lowland plains to join the Atlantic Ocean. On the way, they carry water, nutrients, but also sediments out from the land.
These estuaries play an important role in agriculture for this small country that is mostly made up of flat terrain. While the coastal valleys can flood often during the rainiest part of the year in the summer, the rain makes the valleys good locations for farming, especially rice cultivation. Using satellite data, researchers continue to observe the country's change in terrain and as a result, they're documenting a regrowth of previously eroded coastal areas.
