2018 El Guapo Dubz is in the books! Huge shout out to Chris Rodriguez of @elguapobaskets Baskets for putting on such a great tournament every year. This is one of the best tournaments I play in for sure! And if yall ever need some baskets, either for personal use, or a course, I would highly recomend some El Guapos. These bad boys look slick and the chains catch everything! Seriously some really high quality baskets.
As for the tournament, my partner (my dad) and I played ok. Finished 6 down for the even which was 10 off first place so we definately left a few out there! Playing on the precision baskets was really fun aswell! It certainly kept me honest on the putting green cuz if I was even just slightly off to the side, my putt wasn't gonna stick! This tournament is always really fun. Again, big thanks to Chris for putting on a great event, and I look forward to coming back next year!
Lunge Series Part 4: Lateral Lunges with Chest Plate Press
Do you ever switch up your lunges?! Or do you play a sport that requires lateral movements?
Enter the lateral lunge with chest plate press. This lunge variation not only loads the lunge but also helps with keeping the low back in a better position because the core is working harder.
The key is you have to get your hips OVER your knee and foot. This helps keep good alignment of the hip, knee, and ankle. •
Lateral lunges start to also work the glutes because of how the hips have to drive the motion.
Fantastic drill for #basketball athletes for helping with shuffling in a defensive position. Building strength is the first step in producing quickness!

SL RDL ➡️ Step Up
This is a great combination of two unilateral exercises of opposing muscle groups.
The single leg RDL engages the hamstrings and glutes where as the step up uses the quads and glutes.
Combining these two movements hits most aspects of the upper leg.
Benefits of this movement include
✔️Increased strength of upper leg
✔️Improved balance and hip stability
✔️Improved symmetry in both legs
