A perfect paring of modern style and historical elements downtown ATX! GSC Architects redesigned two separate buildings for Texas Association of Counties Risk Management Pool (TAC RMP) that both pay homage to the civic “court-house” architecture of the existing TAC adjacent HQ; and establish a more contemporary street presence.
Four underground levels provide parking under the new 1204 San Antonio office building while the new 1205 Nueces building offers unique high-ceiling loft office spaces. Both buildings also provide compelling door spaces for prospective tenants, with a large shaded second floor outdoor terrace at 1204 San Antonio and a private wood front deck under heritage palm trees at 1205 Nueces.
We are teamed up with #spawglass, and hopefully building will start building in about 2 months!! In the meantime, enjoy the pretty new renderings from our good friends at #bogza#gscarchitects#gscaustin#gscsa#gsc40#architectsanddesigners#buildingatx#downtowndevelopment#tac

He may be an architectural intern, but this dapper gent is already making a big splash!! We can barely keep up with Ricardo as he heads out to event after event. He is a mentor, an advisor, a community leader, and a savage team player. This past weekend, Ricardo and his PIC Ingrid Gonzalez Featherston took Baltimore by storm presenting at the Hip Hop Architecture Camp — using hip hop culture as a catalyst to introduce underrepresented youth to architecture, urban planning and design. We love following all his adventures and are super happy to have him back at Austin HQ!
