Little TJMaxx haulage. Well the candles, I also got some pumpkins, duh. But - these @dwhomecandles 😍😍😍 Heirloom Pumpkin is to die for, if I could've found a bigger one or more of them I would've bought them ALL. It's a very creamy, sweet (like roasted pumpkin soup) with a little spice type scent, sounds generic but it's not. And Apple Pumpkin is like BBW Apple Crumble had a baby with a pumpkin. I have such high hopes, fingers crossed they burn as well as I want.

I'm craving some crumble! 😍
I was going to make a peach crumble (because I don't have any apples right now) and then I realised I don't have butter either (or at least not enough...) 😑
So no crumble for me 😭 (yes, I know I could have gone out and buy some butter but that means going OUT and it's awfully cold and windy and I'm lazy xD 😂😂😂)
So instead, I'm looking at this picture of one I had long ago in a restaurant in Madrid and drooling all over it 😆😆
Tengo antojo de crumble! 😍
Did both in the end. The pie lid must’ve shrunk though and collapsed. Never mind. I’ll scoff it anyway with lashings of custard. And that’s supposed to be the Apple logo on the pie too because I’m a nerd. Crumble looks alright though👌🏻 #homecooking#instafood#applepie#applecrumble
Long weekend meanss?!? MORE BAKINGG💃💃
Made a healthier version of Apple Crumble and it turned out YUMM😋😋. Paired it with vanilla custard and I swear I need to control myself from eating ALL OF ITT!😭
🎗FILLING: • 3 apples (peeled and sliced)
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 2 tbsp brown sugar
• 1 tsp cinnamon • 1/4 cup melted butter
• juice of 1 lemon
⭐️Mix it all together and put in a round oven-safe dish.
• 3/4 cup old-fashioned oats
• 1/4 cup whole wheat flour • 1/4 cup cold butter • 2 tbsp brown sugar
⭐️Mix it all together in a bowl until it forms a crumble like texture and pour it in the dish, over the apple filling!
Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and let it cool for a while before cutting in. For the vanilla custard, I used Rafhan custard mix but added brown sugar instead of white sugar.
It is soo much funn recreating regular recipes into something a little healthier!! If you try this recipe, do let me know!😄😄
