Was great to meet Drew and Tee last week, spent the day filming Salvage Hunters at both of our warehouses. For those who don’t know us, my brother James is in the middle, he’s our resident salvage hunter. That’s our Dad Stuart to the right of him, he’s been an antique dealer for forty years! That’s me, middle left. James and I are lucky to have learned how to wheel and deal from one of the best.
On this episode of Explorations with Dean, we go back into the state and federal land adjacent to my parents and revisit what seems to be an old hunting camp. This land is no longer privately owned with parts being owned by the State of New Jersey and the rest being a part of the Delaware Water Gap NRA. There's still the remnants of an old Coleman pop up camper, old patio furniture, and the "garbage dump". The garbage dump has LOTS of old glass bottle of many different colors, sizes, and shapes. This isnt the first time I've been here and seen these. But I like returning because each time more is uncovered and different growth in or out of some. As seen in the one bottle that is like a terrarium with a fern plant inside it. #Explorations#Treasures! #OldStuff#KnowltonHistory#Finds#Antiques
