Most of the temples of the Angkor temple site, have a central chamber with a (replica) Buddha statue to pray to. In 2014 a Dutch tourist visited the Bayon temple, but got lost and couldn't find her guide anymore. The guide searched many hours in and around the the temple complex, thinking she might have gotten lost in the jungle surrounding the temple. After the temples closed, he hoped she would have gotten back to her hotel.
Meanwhile the woman was still in the temple and had to stay there during the night. She decided to sleep in the central chamber, on the lap of the Buddha statue... After trying to calm herself by meditating she heard a strange voice, thinking it came from the statue or some high power. Trying to silence the voice, she pushed the statue of the pedestal of course breaking the statue.
The police tried to arrest the woman the day after, but she already left the country.
When people talk about traveling back to the past, they worry about radically changing the present by doing something small. But barely anyone in the present thinks that they can change the future by doing something really small. #makeanimpact#whatsyourimpact
If you spend your life seeking validation for money and fame, you will be forever chasing.. No amount of something eternal will ever truly make you happy, number just never end and they continue to Infinity..
To live fully the current moment though is to feel how perfect everything is and to accept life with complete gratitude within in every breath, step and actions 🙏🏻
