While Egypt's Great Pyramid of Giza is by far the most talked-about pyramid in the world, it isn’t the biggest by a long shot. That title goes to the Great Pyramid of Cholula - an ancient Aztec temple in Puebla, Mexico with a base four times larger than Giza's, and nearly twice the volume.
Why is the world's biggest pyramid so often overlooked? It could be because that gigantic structure is actually hidden beneath layers of dirt, making it look more like a natural mountain than a place of worship.
In fact, it looks so much like a mountain, that famed Spanish explorer Hernán Cortés completely missed it, and unwittingly built a church right on top of it, as you can see in the image above.
To understand how awesome the Great Pyramid of Cholula is, we must jump back to well before Cortés and his army planted a symbol of Christianity on its peak.
Known as Tlachihualtepetl (meaning "man-made mountain"), the origins of the pyramid are a little sketchy, though the general consensus is that it was built in around 300 BC by many different communities to honour the ancient god Quetzalcoatl.
This incremental growth is what allowed the Great Pyramid of Cholula to get so big. With a base of 450 by 450 metres (1,480 by 1,480 feet), it's four times the size of the Great Pyramid of Giza.
In fact, at roughly 66 metres (217 feet) tall, the pyramid’s total volume is about 4.45 million cubic metres (157 million cubic feet), while the Great Pyramid of Giza’s volume is just 2.5 million cubic metres (88.2 million cubic feet).

Keep in mind that THE MAIN KNOW-HOW of TALENTED people is knowing how to LISTEN to the Universe, to the Mother Nature, to oneself and to other people.
YIN-YANG BALANCE of the CREATION JOURNEY
To be able to create something GREAT, you must listen first to discover the messages the Universe is sending through you, your inner creative voices, and the hidden needs of your target audience.
This is the Yin (receptive) step of an experinental creation journey.
The Yin step is to be followed by a Yang step - inventive thinking and a creative action. Break rules and experiment with your outside-the-box ideas to explore a new world that is hidden behind the walls of the obvious.
Never forget though that you move forward much faster when you stop to listen and to think, especially in a wild-nature environment or in holly places.
This means than the Yin-Yang balance should be maintained throughout your creative journey. Having made an experimental creative step, stop to analyse the feedback and listen to your intuition and further guidance from inside and outside yourself. Then repeat the Yin-Yang sequence of steps.

Part 1 of 3 posts ⚖️ “Infinite hearts and minds have turned to "Our Lady - Notre Dame" in the search for meaning beneath the flames and in the search for a deeper understanding. A Pilgrimage place loved by many and a temple to the goddess, made before, on the banks of the beautiful river Seine, in pre-christian times.
I offer my knowings to you now, knowings that may pacify this thirst to rekindle an old and mighty flame. A flame in which brought a Divine Equilibrium to the Paris of before and the soon to be reborn City of Love.
Yes, there are obvious reasons why such flames burnt so bright, over a desperate Moon in Virgo, reasons that support raising the necessary funds to complete the restoration process of this sacred space but...there is obviously still more, more to contemplate over and more to divulge. I will take it to the blooming shore of an early spring symphony, where you can watch my words as if they were theatre and we begin now with a wish on a river bank.
The spring in which gives rise to the river Seine was once an ancient temple dedicated to the Goddess Sequana. The goddess would receive the wishes of those who came to her in the need of healing and more. These dear seekers would make their wishes and offerings at the banks of the Seine. Many would also present lavish offerings at the heart of her temple "The Springs of Sequana" in search for fertility, deep healing and the harmony in the laws of life.” - TarotbyTashi

Borobudur - Sunset View from Afar. If you ever go to see Borobudur, make sure to stay at @pl.borobudur as this will be your view! Only ~2 miles and a 10 minute drive away from the temple, it is a very convenient base of operations but also a luxurious place to relax and enjoy the hospitality of the fantastic staff. I wish we had stayed longer. This image was captured from the upper terrace with big glass + tripod and is not cropped at all. I love how you can see Borobudur rise up through the jungle as well as the people climbing it (zoom in...they’re there!) Borobudur was built during the 9th century and it is said to be the inspiration for much of Angkor in Cambodia which was built over 300 years later. Canon 5D Mark IV • 500mm f/4L IS II USM

As you move towards the Harishchandreshwara temple is the beautiful cave of Kedareshwar. This cave has a 5 ft tall shivalinga and is rather hard to get to because of the icecold water it is surrounded by. The pillars here are said to have a peculiar meaning. The four pillars symbolize the four Yugas, 'Satya Yuga', 'Tretha Yuga', 'Dwapara Yuga' and 'Kali Yuga'. Each pillar breaks by itself at the end of each Yuga!
