yes this piece is truly beyond words. this is a mysterious hand carved stone from ojuelos ? still a very mysterious topic. with now evediance of over 30,000 plus stones some locals saying they believe to be over 1,000,000 stones or more circulating through mexico and beyond :) this one speaks on another level as we see #egyptian symbolism merging with #aztlan#animaltotem#ancientaliens#ancientlanguage#sacredmask#ancientstones this seems to be A jackal standing over the aztlan #alien#sungod#Anubis was the god of #embalming and the dead.
Since jackals were often seen in cemeteries, the ancient #Egyptians believed that Anubis watched over the dead.
Anubis was the god who helped to embalm #Osiris after he was killed by Seth. Thus, Anubis was the god who watched over the process of #mummifying people when they died.
Priests often wore a mask of Anubis during mummification ceremonies.
Runic markings..individual or custom runebinds...part of my Samhain seasonal offerings as talismans for the journey into light through the darkness that is winter...to commune with the ancestors at this time at which traditionally in most cultures the veil between the living and the dead is thinnest.🕸🕸 Handpoked in ritual and after consultation.
Blessed Samhain! Happy Halloween! 🍂🍁🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁

PLEASE NOTE: yes Vikings has made it cool...but As with all the esoteric and cultural bits i do a forewarning...."please do not try this at home" so to speak...particularly tattooing something means making a permanent invocation..asking the archetype or symbol to be your guide as you go on your journey. I was initiated and having studied this craft, amongst others, this one being one that IS in my blood, I know what I am doing enough to do this and even then I know i know nothing and i know my limits (for example i do not do Nordic knotwork or patterns..i would refer you to some if my talented colleagues for those) and keep to what i know and am allowed.
🍂🍁 It is not a trend or something to tattoo on people to seem like youre a dark and edgy tattooist...It worries me when i see people profess to tattoo from the magical arts when they are not practitioners..it is also not a white power thing nor is it racist....dont believe right wing northern european fanatics. Nevertheless like with all manipulation of energy it is potentially as dangerous to use it without proper knowledge as it is helpful and also a form of cultural appropriation... #viking#norse#runes#runebind#scandinavian#staves#pagan#language#ancientlanguage#halloweenflash#samhain#theturningseason#thinningveil#sorgin#hedgewitch#roots#syncretism#practice#craft#archetypes#mesitation#talismans#ladytattooers#handpoke#handpoketattoo#protection#guidance

I’ve decided to learn about runes. Partly as research for a writing project. Partly just nerdy fun. “The only book you’ll ever need?” Well, that could’ve saved me some time earlier ;)
So *heavy sigh* I guess I’m making a language for Limbo now 😩🧐🧐 even though it’s exhausting and rigorous and time consuming... I’ve always wanted to make my own language! I’m actually super stoked about it! Lol I have no idea what I’m doing but I’m giving it my best shot. The thing about Limbo is that the current language in Limbo is translated to English in the book, so I’m making up an ancient language for a fictional place! The words and sentence structure are primitive and the sounds are limited. I wanted it to sound as mystical and spiritual as possible and selected sounds that seemed the most “ghost-like”. Lots of “ahs” and “oohs” and mostly soft consonants. The language won’t be used much in the book itself, but I will use a few words here and there so I’m at least going to get down the basics. I’m excited! Have you made a language for your world before?
Special thanks to Artifexian whose Conlanging YouTube playlist helped me get started!
As the few acquired more rights for less work and suffering, they engaged in intellectual pursuits. a class of priests emerged who associated the success of the community with a patron (or patroness) deity. As the mediators of humans to the gods, the priests achieved tremendous power. This, and the need for an organized system to ensure that fields were irrigated, led to government. The desire to record laws and the reigns of kings as well as more mundane administrative and trade data led to a primitive form of writing, used for record-keeping.
🇬🇧 Beginning about 3000 B.C., Egyptians developed a writing system using hieroglyphs. Hieroglyphs are pictures that stand for different words or sounds. Early Egyptians created a hieroglyphic system with about 700 characters. Over time the system grew to include more than 6,000 symbols. The Egyptians also developed a paperlike material called papyrus from a reed of the same name. Egyptians cut the stems into strips, pressed them, and dried them into sheets that could be rolled into scrolls. Papyrus scrolls were light and easy to carry. With them, Egyptians created some of the first books
