A look behind-the-scenes at what working at the Truck Stop looks like on warmer days. Sometimes working with the #HumanitiesTruck requires a certain willingness to do the dirty jobs. Luckily, during the winter months, our work is looking a little more like creating documents and procedures for events and less like checking under the hood. Still, it’s all worth it when we have the opportunity to help our fellows and community partners host a great exhibit, program, or event!

After graduating from the American University Washington College of Law in 2006, Elizabeth started her career at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP as a Litigation Associate. Elizabeth then worked as the Public International Law & Policy Group’s Chief of Party in Colombo, Sri Lanka, After her time with PILPG, she worked as a Rule of Law Advisor for NATO’s International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) in Afghanistan, then as a Trial Attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice, and finally as a USAID Foreign Service Attorney, where she worked on projects in South Sudan and South Africa. Currently, Elizabeth is a Senior Resident Legal Officer at USAID Southern Africa.

This view was exactly I wanted to see in LA. And it reminded me of my uni time. In fact, I don’t wanna go back to uni since my one was way too busy with things not helpful to real world. But it was nice to have some time to remember it anyway. And I realized that I’m happier than last year 🙂 There’s so much fun in real world, out of uni!
