Back at it with a ‘not so vegan’ meal, but instead low carb ✨ People around me have been super inspiring with awesome food options and so I’m using this account for more accountability around my food 🍟🍎 low carb, high protein (as I have PCOS I need a lot of protein in my diet)✌🏽 So here we are, a low carb dinner of mince, canned tomato, wrapped in courgette and topped with cheese 🧀✨ thanks to @ren.goes.keto for the idea ❤️ I’m also giving fasting a go with 15:9 (as 16 hours is just a bit too long for me) bring on 2019 🍭💥 I think Mila approves too 😂☺️
H U M P D A Y 🐪 I’m pretty certain it’s Wednesday ... although after a busy weekend and my birthday I’ve kinda lost track • I’m not a big believer in hump day, I don’t really get the midweek blues (but I’m always pining for the weekend) BUT there’s certain things on today’s agenda that make my heart sink so I’m going to cheer myself up by donning my favourite @gymtier combo and going out for a run after work • I’m also going to catch up on @sophiecliff’s The Art of Balance course and maybe my the foundations for something exciting for later in the year too • Ain’t no hump day going to bring me down • Ka pow!

Whenever I do arms I always feel like Spongebob lifting a stick with marshmallows on the ends of it. But.... Did some back and pull exercises today. Really haven’t been including arm exercises in the gym lately but currently adding them in even though I mainly focus on glutes and abs when I go to the gym. The first exercise is a lat pulldown which targets the shoulders, arms, and back muscles. The second exercise is a bicep curl which i only got a video for a few seconds because that was one of the last exercises/rep I did until my arms tired out. I also did the rowing machine, reverse curls, some forearms, and some free weights that targeted my arms mainly for back and pull days.
We had to come from behind to secure a comprehensive victory over the Bears last night; a disciplined performance where we took our chances & made few mistakes.
A superb team performance and a fantastic way to begin 2019!

It’s an Ab day today! Super excited to do more challenging exercises once I get a hang of the basic ones. Didn’t film my whole workout today but here’s a snippet. Did 3x15 of reverse crunches alternating into flutter kicks. On top of this I did 3x15 leg raises and some 3x15 Russian twists with a 10lb weight

Consistency is 🔑 Will be posting more workout videos tomorrow. Trying to keep up with posting on the daily on this account. Continuing to work hard and inspire others to do the same and live a healthy lifestyle. I was getting pretty bored with all the standard exercises so I looked up all the different back routines you can do with cables and here is the result 🙌🏻 Cable (and dumbbell cause I can’t skip DB back row lol) back workout 💪🏻 for each exercise I did 12 reps, 3 sets 💥☺️

I’ve been focusing a.lot. lately on my little hamstrings. And since I have been, I felt like I should share this little gem so you can fire 🔥 yours up, too!! This hamstring crunch with hip abduction is.a.killer. 🔥🔥🔥 Fuh reals, though. Keep your little glutes up off the floor for the entire set, please. And I like to keep my arms off the floor as an added spiciness. But if you need a little less fire, lay those babies down and let them help you out!! 🔥
So pull out your #trx and give this a whirl! I can’t say you won’t regret it. The next morning when you try to sit down, you may curse my name 😈

Took @deartahvy out on the ice for the first time today!! 🤩⛸ She LIT UP in pure joy, laughing & giggling like never before — we zoomed around & she beamed at everyone & so many people stopped to smile & say hi. 👋🏼
This might be the best month of motherhood yet. So many people told me it would only get harder but I swear it just gets more fun. This week we rocked an early morning dance party on top of the city. She helped me make a big pot of chicken soup & bake chocolate chip cookies for daddy. We visited several friends & went on playdates & made snowballs outside in the snow. And yesterday I came home from mommy & me yoga grinning ‘cause I realized I’m actually THRIVING. Not just scrambling to get through the day - but really, truly, living. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It feels good to be here, at eleven months postpartum, beside the sweetest little girl in the world. I know I’ll look back at this precious time with nothing but ♥️ & gratitude. 🙏🏼✨
