This weekend we started on the engine room with the help of @danmorgann_
We had to fully clean the whole bay which hadn't been touched in maybe 5+ years starting with emptying out of rain water! Because of its lack of maintenance this meant there was lots of rust, diesel and oil and took a lot of rags to clean down.
Finally we coated it up with some Red Oxide to prevent rusting and allow the engine to be dropped in next week! 😁
Happy Sunday 🌞🍃 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Farm schedules don't often mean we have free Sundays. There is always something more to be done. But we realize the importance of taking time to go out, have fun, relax, and do something different. This waterfall is just a short hike from our campus and is one of our favorite trips. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Join us as a guest or for one of our workshops and enjoy this waterfall and many other adventures in the jungle. Visit our website, link in bio, for more info on the different opportunities to get involved here 🌎 #junglelife#jungleriver#wondersofnature#discovercostarica
2019 came off with a flying start. We renovated and sold our apartment, bought this cute cabin and a boat, on an island, in the midst of this chaos Im starting up my website business. -
My husband plans renovation of the cabin, immediately after we touch ground. It’s great and amazing time, but Ive been in bed sick for two weeks! Theres so many people to see, so many things to pack and sort. -
Two things I pray for now:
1. Let there be internet on the island
2. Let the later half of 2019 be the exact opposite of this half
We’re moving end of April.
Maybe I'll close my eyes and it'll all go away 😆😆😆. The time has come! Had a polite reminder from Australian immigration that my visa is almost expired.
The van is handed back.
All is packed up.
In a hotel for the night near the airport.
I really do not want to leave Australia. It is my favourite country I have visited.
I've met sooooo many amazing people (too many to tag, but you know who you are 😉) on this incredible journey travelling around a country full of wildlife, natural beauty and the powerful ocean.
Few people I've crossed paths with have really impacted me one way or the other. For which, I'll be forever grateful 🙏.

The golden hour morning sun lighting up Florence and Fan Brycheiniog in the distance. This is first night we have been out in Florence since new year with so much stuff going on with life and Florence having a cab refit she is finally back on the road. 😉🚌😀
I’m completely drooling over this bus conversion @somedrifters slide out solar panels that reveals the roof deck, satellite dish and of course the gorgeous design inside out! Would love to see it in person at one of our festivals!😍😍🥰😘
Hey, I'd like to introduce you to my friend Rob Greenfield. He just completed his tiny house and if you would like to learn about simple living, and be inspired to live more sustainably, Rob is the guy to follow. He built this 100 sq. ft. tiny house for under $1,500 using nearly all secondhand materials. He is currently growing and foraging 100% of his food for a year while living in his little homestead. Please follow him @robjgreenfield .
I’m so excited to announce that I’m officially in the proofing stage with my house plans! I see the bright light! Thanks to those who are waiting on me for being so patient. I’ve put my heart into this and hope it shows. ❤️
