Thought our excursion to the Sólheimajökull glacier would be quite boring but it was actually so fun and beautiful! 😍🌈🇮🇸

Humantay Lake was hands down my favorite part of our trip to Peru! Humantay Lake has only opened up to tourists in the last year and a half. Prior to this, it was primarily visited by independent hikers on their way to Salkantay and of course the local Peruvians near Soraypampa. We began our journey from Cusco at 3am with @willkatravel. We had a great guide Freddy and an amazing group of about 15 people from various different countries. A few hours into our journey we stopped at Mollepata and shared a yummy breakfast in the garden of a local home. From there we continued to Soraypampa where we began our hike. The hike itself was super challenging due to the high altitude of nearly 14,000 ft. With only a few steps I felt my heart rate at the highest it’s ever been, as if I had just done the stairmaster for an hour on the highest level haha 😅 But once you reach the top you are rewarded with the most spectacular view!! My jaw literally dropped at the first sight. After some time near the lake, we hiked back down together and head back to Mollepata and shared another delicious meal together. Everyone cracking up at my dad’s crazy jokes, because at this point we all felt like close friends. After lunch we all passed out on the journey back to Cusco.
This day was so special! If you visit Peru, I highly recommend visiting Humantay!! (If you missed the stories from this place or just want to relive how incredible these views were in video, I’ve saved them all in my Peru highlights 😉)
Early mornings at Lanikai Beach! Isn’t this the most gorgeous beach in Oahu, Hawaii?! 🌺🌈 So glad to have stayed in Kailua, the breakfasts were amazing, beaches were beautiful, and the whole town is just a lot less crowded & touristy compared to Waikiki. 📷 @kmd_37

I still can’t believe I found a flight from Europe to Los Angeles, CA for less than 200 USD. ⭐️🌴
We flew from Riga, Latvia (my home country) to LA via London. With prices like these the world starts to get even smaller, doesn’t it? 🙃
One day you’re somewhere in the autumn of Eastern Europe and the next day you’re playing in the sand of Santa Monica Pier in California. 😍The best feeling ever.
My next big win is a flight from Vilnius, Lithuania (EU) to Bangkok, Thailand for 170 USD. The world gets even smaller! ✈️
I really feel like I was born to be a “super epic flight finder”. 🧐 It’s something I enjoy doing and apparently, it’s working great. 🙌🏼 Keep an eye on our Insta stories as we’re about to share some of our secrets how to find all these cheap flights.🤫
What’s the cheapest flight you’ve ever had? 👀
My favorite view. 🇺🇸
I love languages. Growing up in Canada I spoke both Polish (with family) and English (in my daily life). When I moved to Spain, I learnt Spanish, and Italian after moving to Italy. My favourite thing about languages are the small peculiarities that are not always translatable. My favourite Spanish word, or concept, is "sobremesa" which doesn't have an English equivalent. "Sobremesa" refers to the time period you stay and chat after having dinner. Have you ever been out with friends and had such a great time you ended up spending hours in the bar/restaurant/cafe, laughing and telling stories after you've finished your drinks and food? This feeling and moment in time can be encapsulated into one word. Pretty cool eh?
Tell me something about your language!
Mornings at the beach !
Et toi ton mercredi ? Où ton prochain voyage ? Quoi de prévu dans ta vie ?
MOBILE PHOTOGRAPHY ADVICE 📱 3/3
Here comes my last straight forward tip for improving your phone camera pictures with a little delay. Life has been a bit busy lately as construction of our house 🏠 has started but I’ll tell more about that on another occasion. .
When taking pictures it’s all about perspective and good composition.
No matter if you follow or break the concept of rule of thirds, it’s always useful to use grid lines. Did you know that you can turn these on for your phone camera too? I was literally wishing my phone camera had this feature for years only to find out that it actually had it. If you’re an iPhone user, you can activate the grid lines in Settings under Camera 📷.
The grid lines will help you finding the ideal composition and keeping the horizon straight.
I hope you liked my little tips & tricks series for improving your mobile photography. Did you find them helpful? If there is anything I haven’t touched yet that you would like to have answered, just send me a message 💌
“Some 80% of your life is spent working. You want to have fun at home; but why shouldn’t you have fun at work?” 🙇🏻♀️

Surfing taught me two very important things:
1. Don't worry if you miss a wave. There will be another. Don't worry if you screw up a wave. There will be another. Life doesnt send you one wave - and leaves it at that. You'll get more than one change.
2. Surfing is damn hard.

“Everybody’s 12 years old again in an apple orchard” -Rachel Ray 🍎
We had so much fun picking apples the other day I’m already dreaming of going back! Who else loves Apple picking? Also, I’m super pumped that this orchard was dog friendly because most farms near us aren’t. So if you’re in the D.C. area check out @mackintoshfruit
Good morning, Hawaii!! Wanted to catch the sunrise on top of the Lanikai pillboxes but didn’t make it. I still recommend hiking in the early morning which we did after watching the beautiful sunrise on the beach! Barely any people, and gorgeous weather! (I was also worried that tropical storm Olivia would affect our trip but we’ve been so lucky!) 📷: @kmd_37
