Hawaii was unreal.... I landed yesterday around 8pm. I woke up at 4 am to an alarm for a spontaneous road trip! Samuel H has always been on my bucket list and I’m truly grateful I got to experience right after Hawai’i! It’s a lifestyle 🤙🏻
The turquoise blue of Devils lake was easy to see but hard to photograph; it was really difficult to find the right angle to shoot the contrast. Finally, on the SE end, I climbed down a steep cliff (rock climbing skills come in handy doing photography work) and then balanced onto a broken tree branch (former ballet skills) to capture this green/blue contrast. I wish I could say Gray was in the pack on my back...but he was asleep in the car. Maybe next time.
This is Bingie Campground, not far from Batemans Bay (NSW), private campsites just minutes from some of the best beaches in NSW, with its own magnificent forest, 2km of walking trails and spectacular coastal and mountain views. This one is a beauty! #youcamp#gocamping#visitnsw#nswsouthcoast

Probably one of my favorite photos I’ve taken. I took this last year on the hike to Kjerag, in southwestern Norway. The weather in norway is in constant flux, from sunny to windy to placid to pouring rain all in a matter of half an hour. High in the mountains, this is amplified. Although I do test the limits of Canon’s water-sealing, my camera spent a lot of time in my backpack due to the pouring rain. But here, as I climbed to the top of the ridge and the rain slowed to a drizzle, this beam of light broke through the clouds and illuminated the crystal clear pool below. It happened in seconds, and I was lucky enough to snap the shot before the clouds rolled over again only a few moments after, swallowing the light and bringing the rain once again. I love shots like these, because if I had passed a minute earlier or a minute after, it would not have been the same. The world’s landscapes are constantly moving with nature’s energy, and will offer a new experience every time you return to them.
