Headed to the #Adirondack Mountains today for a much needed perspective change.
Thought about who to ask to join in today's adventure but... it had to be someone who speaks to my soul, like the trees, and being among them, do.
There are 7 billion people on the planet.
I went solo.
Chase after the things that inspire you + make you feel alive ♡ Even if that means you have to do it alone, even if you're not 100% sure what you're doing, + even if the people around you don't understand. Just go all in 💫 This trip to the Adirondack Mountains reminded me of my own capabilities + the beautiful outcomes of chasing after dreams. Push past the barrier of limiting thoughts + start saying yes to new experiences. Your decisions are powerful + ultimately transform your whole life🍂🍁🍃

This was so worth almost slipping and falling to my death while trekking through all the ice on this scramble
Laura, where do I even begin? You were planted in my life with such planned purpose and timing. Whenever I read about the Israelites coming out of Egypt and wandering, I’m always like “What the heck guys”? How can people being so miraculously guided by God every step of the way doubt him like that? How can they turn their backs the second a problem arises, even though God was so faithful to them? How can you build idols with miracles being performed in front of your eyes? Jesus has shown me in this season, that I stumble in that same mindset. God has had His hand on me and Mike and guided us through dark times in so many extraordinary miraculous ways, but when chaos hits us I doubt God’s plan, I pity myself, I listen to the voice of anxiety instead of trust, I gossip more about situations than I pray about them. Every time, Jesus has been more than faithful - He has shown me His plans are a lot better than mine and He uses hard times for growth. I can see changes in my heart and prayer life even compared to the beginning of this summer. Thank you @laurapinckard for being a rock to me in this season, for being an instrument of God’s goodness in my life and encouraging me in truth. Also we would make a rlly cute girl band. 🤙

Found plenty of boardwalks. They ranged from water crossing to deep muddy trails. Watch your step. .
Should we introduce Mom to our followers too? I guess it can’t hurt. You won’t see too much of her on this page though, but every now and then, she makes an appearance. .
Mom’s name is Charlotte and she’s 26 years old. Her first dog was a German Shepherd named Anna and the two of them were babies together. She’s been a dog lady ever since! Mom’s a little older now, but apparently none the wiser, since she somehow thought having two dogs in law school was a good idea! We like to help her out with her homework (JOKES) and go adventuring in our spare time. Mom will graduate in May and she is hoping to find a job somewhere less urban, where we can go hiking more!
What else is there to tell about our momma? Honestly not much. She feeds us, gives us snacks, lets us sleep on the human bed, takes us for hikes, and pets us lots. Does anything else really matter?
