A larger older finished piece. Loved using #polychromos such a satisfying saturation of colour possible. Reminds me of one of those magic eye picture things where you have to squint to see something 😄 what can you see?
A colorful apron makes everything more fun––From luscious bouquets to a Van Gogh quote––it's a fun way to tie some color on! These 'kids' are hanging out in my online shop🙂⠀

The Sky Opens and Then. There is a little patch in this one that reminds me of when you see the clouds open up and you can see that glorious sunshine beaming through. Do you see it? (It’s right where the pink/white/black striped area is). Whenever I see this, I always want to grab a camera stat. Anyway, I was also thinking of the art process and how sometimes it can FEEL like the clouds parting; the sky has opened, the energy flows, thinking is clear...and it is amazing. This keeps me coming back to art always. 🦋✔️🌈👣💸🍭
This one is not for shows, but for sale. DM for purchase. 12” x 20” acrylic on canvas.
A happy 9x12 study...yellow has been a welcome boost this cold winter. We are due for a giant snowstorm starting tomorrow and we have kids throwing up here in the house. We are in for it...in more ways than one! 😂 I have about a year’s worth of bookkeeping to do along with all of this...I may need more of than this yellow to keep me going!! 💪🏻 what is your big challenge today? Get it out of your system here!!!
'Dancing in the Rain'
I find deciding on a name for a piece fun and sometimes challenging.
It's the time it stop, accept it's finished and decide how best to capture what's at the heart of the piece in 2 or 3 words... No pressure
You would've laughed if you seen me trying to decide on a name for his piece... I was torn between between whether it felt like a dance or a crash landing!! When I look over the names I have given past pieces, I know that my titles are always inspired by emotions and sensations.
I have to admit when I see 'Untitled' as a name for an art piece - it bugs me.
I feel the artist couldn't be bothered giving an opening to the viewer to try and even hint at their intention for the piece or the artist couldn't even find one word linked to the essence of the piece.
Maybe that's just me who gets annoyed by the 'Untitled' name...?

Feeling the feels with this thought today. The unwrapping process sure can be painful. But hope...hope is such a wonderful thing.
