Made the Biscotti with equal parts flour/sugar, 2/3 eggs and a little baking powder. I chose to add pistachios, almonds, cranberries, orange zest and some mixed spice to mine. They are baked twice once before cutting in logs and once after to dry them out. They are fairly crunchy due to the double bake hence ideal for dunking in a coffee or dessert wine! Will keep in an airtight jar for hopefully a month... if I don’t eat them all before.
Biscotti from my understanding means “twice cooked”
