I got a word the other night that really convicted me about the way I treat my husband.
We went to our church’s prophetic ministry night + heard some amazing things, but this one really convicted me.
“The Lord says your husband is a man of integrity, he’s a man of his word + He likes that about him.”
I know what you’re thinking: uh girl that’s a good thing, have you been complaining about having a husband full of integrity???
If you listened to the rest of the word, you’d hear examples of my husband being VERY punctual, sometimes to the point of rushing me out the door just so we can be somewhere half an hour early, or examples of him refusing to alter plans because we committed to one specific thing + he wants to honor it. As his wife who is very flexible with planning + hates being rushed, that can be really frustrating for me, + these tend to be things I pick on him for as his “faults”.
“I made him that way, Kylee”, the Lord whispered.
Sometimes what you see as faults are really part of God’s greater design in someone or something. That includes within yourself.
We pick ourselves apart, we pick our families and friends apart, meanwhile it’s God’s design we’re really picking apart.
And that’s what I did with my husband. I neglected to see the good in the things that annoyed me so badly, I neglected to see God.
Examine the way you view yourself, others + the things around you. Pray to see God’s design in all of it.
“My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth.”
Psalms 139:15 ESV
When you achieve your goals you might lose some friends. It’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me! Let me explain: When I first set out to transform my body, most of my friends were very supportive… until they weren’t. -
A lot of my friends weren’t into health and fitness. As I got closer to my goals, they would say things like, “Who do you think you are? Acting all better than us with your salad and healthy lifestyle!” -
Sometimes it’s the people who know you best who hold you back from changing the most. They met you when you were a certain way, and they want you to stay that way. -
If you surround yourself with people who aren’t used to success, they may become fearful and threatened because you are reflecting back to them something that intimidates them. Not everyone is going to be happy for you. -
In letting go, you create space for other likeminded people who can support you on your path. Having help from people who have been in my shoes helps keep me motivated and allows me to learn from the experience of others. This saves a lot of time and effort and makes the journey more enjoyable. -
You can find supportive people by making friends with people at the gym, joining a running group from meetup.com, or joining a meditation studio. You can even consider working with a trainer or coach if you need a little extra help. -

What’s up, trainies! I am going to come clean about something. For decades I have refused to talk about my personal feelings around my body image because well, it feels very petty and superficial and I want to be better than that. I feel strong and that should be enough. And I know people twice my size struggle with their weight and therefore it’s disrespectful for me to talk about my own insecurities. Well, the truth is I work too hard to feel as insecure about my body as I do. And I recognize that part of holding back and refusing to talk about my insecurities is also self protection and allowing me to continue to feel the way I do. It keeps me from having to change. Well, today is the day! I’m ready for change in a big way! I talked openly about my nutrition and body image insecurities to a health coach and it felt so good. I’m taking a personal challenge to improve the way I eat and feel and am looking for results! More to come as I navigate through this. But for now, here is a meal that was simple, easy, delicious, quick, and delicious. I mean, don’t we all want the same thing? To eat food that tastes good and makes us feels good without feeling overwhelmed or deprived?!? That is my goal! #letsdothis#letsgo#health#wellness#whatkimstouteats#macros#trackyourmacros#accountability#crossfit#montavilla#personaltrainer#exercisenutrition#salmonburher#lunch#keepitsimple#thanksholly#trainersneedtrainerstoo#coachesneedcoachestoo

One of the most exciting things I found when I joined Young Living, was their entire baby range! I knew that not only could I use these on my kids, but they'd make for amazing baby shower or new born baby gifts, too!! ✨Unlike many baby products on the market, you can enjoy peace of mind knowing that the soothing formulas are made without alcohol, parabens, synthetic fragrances, artificial dyes, or other unwanted ingredients. ✨Young Living's 'Seedlings' products are made with only 100 percent plant-based ingredients, infused with Lavender, Bergamot, Coriander, Geranium and Ylang Ylang essential oils diluted to a strength safe for your baby’s skin (and oh so soothing and calming! Hello lavender!!) The Seedlings line features the following baby products: ✨Seedlings Baby Wash & Shampoo
✨Seedlings Baby Lotion
✨Seedlings Baby Wipes
✨Seedlings Baby Oil
✨Seedlings Diaper Cream
✨Seedlings Linen Spray
My favourite products are the wipes and linen spray!! I have a packet of wipes in every room, and I use them to remove my make up of a night time or just refresh my face if I haven't been wearing any!! Then I walk around and spray the linen spray on all our blankets and pillows and the kids sleeping toys for allll the calming, ready to sleep vibes!
This range was a huge reason why I signed up with YL, as my kids were the reason I started looking for natural alternatives. The Seedlings (and YL's KidScents) range means that I have peace of mind knowing the products going onto their skin every single day, are so good for them!

Thoughts on workplace culture by Yes Queen Millennial Maven @becpalma • Culture can no longer only exist as a value that is written on a work wall or on the intranet. A company must be cultivating great culture DAILY, from the top down. Tip: it’s more than Friday pub lunch. If you want to attract the best Millennial candidates for your business, then you need to have a culture that seriously promotes empowerment and collaboration - cross level. Hierarchy is over, an employee can lead from any chair. Check out Bec’s article “The game has changed, and so have the rules”, link in bio #RealQueensDontBully

Self care is the most important thing we can do for ourselves (and people close to us! 😉) I’ve replaced the coffee with our #energyfizzsticks of course! ⭐️💫 I’m trying to implement daily reading & make sure I’m getting my regular exercise & staying healthy. Not always easy when you’ve got two littlies but you just have to do what you can.👌🏼 What are you doing to care for yourself? 🥰

You’ve heard me rave about the Thieves cleaner and I’m not alone! @thekitchn named Thieves a cult favourite that everyone should be using 👍🏻✨
It’s no joke, you guys - natural cleaning products CAN be super effective and this one here is as good as they get. Oh yeah, and it’s the only cleaner you’ll need for everything from marble counters to windows (secret: dilution).
I’m such a huge advocate for making the switch to plant-based cleaners because the conventional junk lurking in our cupboards is two steps away from arsenic but no one tells us about it 😔
I recorded a quick video to show you how I use Thieves for everyday clean-ups, tougher jobs and wood furniture - it’s all in Stories and Highlights 😊
THEY 👏 ARE 👏 HERE 👏 $99 one-month, unlimited is back PLUS we are introducing our new referral program. When you refer a new friend who also purchases a $99 unlimited month, you will get your next unlimited month for $99 too! #SweatToReset

and finally, everything seems to be falling into place.
For the longest time, I’ve been drawn to holistic healthcare and the idea of one day having my own practice and ‘clients’ (for lack of a better word.) Even after reaching a place where I’d completed my inner work and felt in such a strong place (though the self growth and development will never truly end, of course) I was holding myself back. life coach?? Not now... maybe one day in the future. when I’m older, wiser, when people will respect me more and take me seriously. I was scared to trust in myself, scared to trust in the signs I was getting, the gut feeling I kept having that I needed to follow these interests and passions. It’s taken a while to find the courage, the confidence to vocalise to the world that I have something to offer. That I know I have so much knowledge I’m ready to share; so much wisdom and insight from my personal experience I know so many others relate and resonate with. To trust in myself, to be my own biggest supporter and tell myself that I am capable, that I am good enough. That I can, will, and have begun already to help others.
I know some people will judge or speak negatively about what I’m doing - say that I’m not old enough, that I don’t have enough experience, that mindset is all ‘woo woo’ stuff... And you know what, that’s okay. I know deep down what I’m doing is making a difference, how it’s transformed my life and could transform others.
Today I launched @uncovercoaching, and had my first call with one of the beautiful people I’m working with. And I can’t tell you, how good it feels to know I’m on the right path. To finally be listening to myself, to follow what lights me up, to feel in sync with life. To be able to help and support someone’s journey, to provide them with all the tools and ways of thinking that can change the way they perceive themselves and the way they live their life - it’s honestly a dream come true. So my message to you is, if you feel drawn to something, pursue it. Let go of those fears of judgement and rejection. Live your life for you. 🌺

The one major point my recent travels taught me - Life is too short to spend it consumed by one thing. .
Redefining my definition of fitness - healed me, and continues to. ✨
We all have obsessions - they can be healthy yes... but they can be dangerously unhealthy too. When they hold you back from travel, from growth, from social relationships, from experiences, from taking chances, from living freely.... you have got to stop. Take a look at your life from the sky down. Push outside your mind and look at it from the exterior rather than caged within. And redefine your relationship with your obsession. Redefine it - so that it’s a burning passion with the ability to set your soul alight AND allow you to feel good, live well, travel, experience, love, laugh, cry, sleep, eat and breathe with peace and with excitement in every single breath. Don’t miss a moment of opportunity you’ll regret not exploring because you were too busy... consumed 💗
I’ve uploaded an IGTV today talking about the most important points of my fitness journey that needed redefining to ensure I could actually do all of the above. .
1️⃣ Lean physique and it’s relation to health.
2️⃣ Protein intake
3️⃣ Calorie counting
4️⃣ Training Standards
5️⃣ Goal setting .
Change is never easy. But it’s always worth it ❤️ Using the hashtag #RedefineFitness with my new outlooks - join in🤘
Don’t allow yourself become blindfolded. Set yourself standards. In all areas of your life. And accept nothing less ✨
Hump day thoughts as I dive into some late night work and oats after dinner 🙃🤣💗 #RedefineFitness#Lifestyle#Standards#Outlook

Repost from @xiannewman
Celery Juice 🥬 My morning medical miracle.
For a decade, I was tormented by eczema-psoriasis on my scalp, forehead, brows, eyelid, chest, and behind my ears. 🥵
The red, burning, itchy, flaky, bleeding skin was embarrassing and uncomfortable. 😳
Controlling it with topical steroids was a frustrating game of cat and mouse. For days at a time, steroids worked… but they didn’t make me better. 🐁🐈
I didn’t know steroids were an immunosuppressant - the exact OPPOSITE of what I needed to finally heal. 😔
I was told my body is “attacking itself.” 🤔
Then, I discovered @MedicalMedium. I learned my body WASN’T attacking itself.
I learned I needed immune support, not suppression, and to relieve my liver, not burden it further with drugs. 💊
I also learned about the healing potential of CELERY JUICE. 💚
The old me wouldn’t have even tried. I’d have demanded empirical proof, and to hear it from someone with rock-solid credentials before believing in celery juice’s potential to heal my body or improve my life. 👩🏼⚕️
In my mind, I was “stuck” with steroids, and a body that’s attacking itself.
I had a fixed mindset. It never would have permitted me to accept advice from someone who receives medical information from a voice speaking into his right ear.
Overcoming health anxiety changed me. It opened my eyes to new experiences. It opened my heart and mind to new ideas, and new explanations for life’s mysteries.
It gave me a growth mindset, and the ability to see the positive in anything.
Instead of “what if he’s wrong,” I ask, “what if he’s right?”
I KNOW I have the power to make choices that’ll improve my health and my life. 💚
So I began my morning celery juice ritual.
I haven’t used topical steroids in 4 months, and my skin’s never looked or felt better.
Other benefits I’ve observed:
🚫 #Bloating 😐
⬇️ Gas 🙊
⬆️ Regularity 💩
⬇️ #Tinnitus 🙉
⬇️ #BrainFog 🧠
⬆️ Energy 💪🏼
I continue to heal and using more priceless information shared by @medicalmedium.#FoodisMedicine
Challenged by chronic, “autoimmune” or mystery symptoms? Do yourself a favour: drink 500mL fresh celery juice on an empty stomach.
