Every time you climb a mountain the main focus is getting to the top, reaching the highest point. Don’t look past the bottom of the mountain before you’re at the top, because where you start is beautiful thing that you’ll want to remember when you’re at your highest 🗻
“When words become unclear, I shall focus with photographs. When images become inadequate, I shall be content with silence.” Ansel Adams .
Legendary American landscape photographer and environmentalist Ansel Adams has been my inspiration and hero since I was a kid. To visit places around the world and capture them through photography, trying to capture the magic of nature as he did is always my goal. Great way to express memories and the character of place I visit on my travels
☞ So if you couldn’t tell already I’m obsessed with these hats... △ッ
Vietnam was my first overseas trip where I focused on photography. I wanted to find a subject and shoot the crap out of it, so I spent 2 weeks creeping the streets and chasing randoms to get my hat pics ◘ϟ
And here they are, my favourite ➇ in B/W ▯▮ for my first project, hope you like ‘em
Happy to say that we made it to the Mt. Whitney Summit ⛰. In the early morning we had a 🐻 encounter that potentially could have ruined the trip. I guess he was just a little hungry. Luckily no packs were destroyed and we were able to start our journey. We walked through the darkness, crossing various streams and creeks as we gained elevation, we all made it to the top.
Elevation 14,508 or 14,505 🔝
Highest point in the lower 48 states!🇺🇸 #mtwhitney#mountwhitney#optoutside#orenthewanderer#california#adventure
“If you feel lost, disappointed, hesitant, or weak, return to yourself, to who you are, here and now and when you get there, you will discover yourself, like a lotus flower in full bloom, even in a muddy pond, beautiful and strong. Be like a lotus. Let the beauty of your heart speak.”
