“There is no such thing as balance. Everything worth fighting for unbalances your life”
—Alain De Botton
🇬🇧on this last trip I started thinking a lot about balance. ‘Balance’ It’s a word I gave a lot of thoughts to (and never lightly). Not a day goes by without me thinking of it (and where to find it.). Some people make it seem so fucking easy but I don’t think it will ever come easily to anyone. No matter how happy, content or serene one can be, it will take a lifetime to find it, if it can ever even really be found... if you want to take a trip into a traveler’s mind, go read my last blog post (link in the stories) 😬

Here’s a little tidbit of information some of you may not know. I graduated from college about 5 months ago and was doing photography full time while I got my masters in Architecture.
I remember many a weekend driving 18 hours away from Manhattan Kansas (my college town) just to make it in time for a sunset and sunrise in the Grand Canyon or the Great Tetons. Only to turn around and drive right back 18 hours to campus to make it in time for my first class on Monday.
A sendy patch of time in my life that makes me appreciate a warm bed and close friends. Blessed to feel like I’ve continued the adventure all around the world with the same amount of stoke this time with a much more forgiving time budget.
Looking forward to see what the future holds.
This shot is from a short little mission to the Colorado Rockies with @stepsnod last year (27 hours of driving, 1900 miles all in one weekend) good times.
Stay Adventurous Dear Friends!!
