Upper body strength training.. the purpose of training chest and back together is to involve the two antagonist muscle groups to be equally proportion. I used the same weight for bench and rows to train them equally.
- Chained bench- 225lbs + chains for 4x6. Extremely beneficial for the lock out portion of a bench. The weight decreases as the chains touch the floor
- Barbell Rows superset dumbbell snatches- 4x6 of each. This is just a killer superset.

It's super intelligent it creates dramas it creates "situations" all just to keep you from doing what you so badly want to do. It's what talks you out of making that business move, starting a family, trusting that person, speaking up and so many other things that limit you. Now, let's not confuse it with your intuition or that gut feeling. They are both very different. The ego makes you feel bad about yourself, intuition doesn't it guides you in the right direction in different situations. When we train a certain body part or complete a certain exercise we are shaping and strengthening our bodies into what we want it to be, and accomplish. We implement goals of new PRs we want to hit, numbers on the scale, volume of exercises and/or completed rep range. .
Just like when we train; we must know the importance of why we take a certain supplement or eat a certain food at a specific time. .

Protein Wasted 🤤 Who else has been in the gym lifting heavy and eating?! I Decided to drastically increase my calories last week. Morphing into fluffy Monica but slowly welcoming it 😌 because I haven’t truly bulked in almost 2 years due to injuries. Although the anabolic window notion is often overly obsessed over , don’t under estimate the effectiveness of it. I make sure I get my @bpi_sports nutrients in immediately after my workouts to optimize growth. Will try and post some high carb meals for you all next week !

#transformationtuesday ~ thickness gains 💪🏼😏
Over the last year I have really focused on bringing up the muscle thickness and maturity of my back and hamstrings whilst maintaining good structure and symmetry. I've achieved this by manipluating my training to include a lot more volume as well as heavy compound lifting. I've always programmed my own training and I absolutely love the "off season" as it's an opportunity to play around with your workouts and do a little trial and error. Keep what works, remove what doesn't 💪🏼
