My latest stack of Nancy Drew books needed to be finished by Thursday night when we’d drive to the Library and I’d trade them in for new. Every Sunday, we had lunch at OIP before our visit with Grandma and Grandpa at their nursing home. That Bible conference held my 11th grade church banquet when I wore my long blue dress, and that courthouse has seen my heaviest tears.
That’s my Montrose story. And I have a Harford story. And a Cedarville story. And a Columbus story. We all create maps in our mind of the places we’ve been by the experiences we’ve had in them. Let’s celebrate the places we call home.
Montrose flour sack dish towels and 8x10 prints will be available with my kitchen launch on January 21st. 3 days to launch!
I’ll be showing you another town tomorrow, any guesses on what it will be? If you have a city/town request, comment, and if I hear enough support for one, we can get it into print. 😉

IT’S DEMO DAY! 🔨 🚧 @thelakehousenc is getting a makeover. We can’t wait to share as we transform and open up our wonderful design studio! 💕
We really super love Savannah. Cuteness around every corner. And you know how I feel about cuteness, right? 😍👌
We could have spent a week in this city alone. But alas, we only had 8 short hours. Hopefully, one day we'll be back 🙏
(In other news, I'm on my tippy toes for this photo. Just when did my babies become full size people?)
It’s the freakin weekend baby and I’m about to have me some fun! Happy Friday y’all! I thought I’d take a minute to do a little introduction. I’m Melissa. I just got married a little over 4 months ago and I’m so grateful to have a husband who graciously supports my Rae Dunn addiction and need to decorate for every holiday. Together we have a three-dog puppy circus 🐶🐶🐶 and if you’re wondering, three dogs is too many! 😜 We live in Northern Virginia in a townhouse that I try to make as pretty as possible. I tend to mix industrial and farmhouse styles to make our house a home. I love DIY projects, binge-watching tv shows (currently watching The 100) and cooking. I can’t wait to share all of my home decor and diy projects with you!
Are you looking for something cute for your Spring Vacation? We have lots to choose from. Shop these styles in Middletown at 11408 Shelbyville Rd or Check us out online for our entire Sandi’s Styles Collection. Link is in the bio.
It’s not that often that the back view of a house is as equally, if not more, aesthetically pleasing than the front but Steve Powell Homes managed to build one such beauty! Make sure to scroll all the way through so you don’t miss a single room, every single one will make you stop for a moment to just soak it all in! Especially that back porch!!! I love how they used natural wood tones to marry all the spaces together! The best part? It’s for sale! Check it out on Zillow! Google 13365 Hopewell Road and make sure to check out the laundry room❤️❤️❤️ 📷@davidcannonphotography
