San Francisco Proper gives the city something to shout from the rooftops about – literally, thanks to the hipster-favoured, skyline-showcasing, open-air bar 🗝

rainy weekend well spent - mostly drooling all over the @kellywearstler designed interiors at the @properhotelsandresidences instead of eating my brunch yesterday 🤓 then I got inspired by this gallery wall to make one of our own. so instead of going to the museum to look at art, we went to the art store to buy materials to make some! I don't think I'll ever have a wall as beautiful as this, but it was so relaxing and fun to paint and get creative at home! (stories for more) PS: who can spot me in this photo??
The honeymoon recap has begun on www.forfoodssake.net with @villonsf at one of San Francisco’s newest hotels @properhotelsandresidences . Their Ricotta Pancakes -w/ pine-nuts, raspberry & creme fraiche was delicious!
Staying in one place is boring. I can’t help but move around. Traveling opens your eyes, it makes you uncomfortable to the world you think you know. I’m not even talking international, I’m talking here, within the U.S.. San Francisco is a much different culture than where I played college ball in Kansas. It’s a different type of people than those found in D.C, or even Orange County.
A short trip to the Bay can do wonders - and of course, I love traveling with @crystalkatebonham!!
These colours! Could v much get onboard with this type of marble as a kitchen or bathroom counter.
Well aware this photo is out of focus btw but what can you do? I’m just a girl, standing in front of a console table, unable to wait for my camera to finish autofocusing 🤓

Thank you #sanfranciscoproper for an amazing stay in San Francisco. ♥️ And also helping me find and ship back the items we left in our room 🙈
I loved the interiors by @kellywearstler at San Francisco Proper. It’s undisputedly the most stylish hotel in San Francisco (by a mile) BUT it’s on the edge of the sketchy Tenderloin district, so it’s pretty scary walking to/from there. We didn’t stay, we just went for breakfast (which was delicious) but I would stay there because it’s such a beaut, I’d just get Ubers to and from!
