Found a pretty flower picture to celebrate the first day of spring. But as we're currently in Minnesota (for a family wedding!), we've got snow instead of lavender fields outside our window... That said, the high today is a balmy 43°F (6°C). That's a beautiful spring day here in MinneSNOWta 😂 #firstdayofspring

The Taj 🌿🕌 This place really is hard to describe in words. I’ve been extremely fortunate and lucky to have been able to visit this place twice, and both times I’ve had the same thought and feeling. That even while standing there looking at it from the gate, is just doesn’t look real, it looks like it’s been painted onto the canvas of the sky. The symmetrical design of the buildings is just too perfect for it to be real. And while passing through the gates as the entire view of the Taj opens up, I can’t help but hear the Arabian Nights song from Aladdin (the Sultan’s Palace in Aladdin was actually inspired by the Taj Mahal, yes I just googled that) 😅 This is a magical place, and although it’s extremely busy with tourists, it is still so well worth the visit to simply admire the sheer beauty of this structure. P.S. I was actually getting half into the bushes for this shot to try and hide the crowds, and then it just ended up being one up my absolute favourite compositions, sometimes you just get lucky 🤷🏼♂️
Remember the karst formations in our last post? Khao Phing Kan is another beautiful example in Thailand! We are so in love with them just magically floating on the water 😍
You may know this spot by its popular name James Bond island because it’s featured in the film “the Man with the Golden Gun”--which also increased its immense popularity.
So obviously, the more popular a place becomes, the more touristy it gets (especially with social media). This can be bad for natural protection efforts because of overcrowding, which sometimes happens quicker than anticipated. For a traveler, it can also test your patience or lead to disappointment.
We’re not sharing this snippet to dissuade anybody from visiting (what kind of travel bloggers would we be?). We simply recommend you devote time for your own research, that way you can make sure your travel plans are exactly what you’re looking for.
Traveling with the right mentality can make all the difference. If you want to see top attractions like #JamesBondIsland , know that you will not be the only one there, and you’ll have to work the angles for your perfect picture.
What do you think about visiting top tourist destinations? Do you avoid them, only visit during off-season, or seize the opportunity to see the popular spots no matter what?

Shandilya Rishi Mandir
Village : Shallin, Himachal Pradesh
It's a small hike for a few kilometers till you reach the Apex of this legendary staircase that seems to lead to heaven itself. 😂 Well, it wasn't so bad.
The temple is said to be over 500 years old , also the locals believe that it was the place where shandilya Rishi meditated during his life period.
Unfortunately I couldn't go inside, respecting the religious beliefs of the people. Also a huge board outside the temple said woman above 12 years of age aren't allowed to walk inside the temple. Although praying doesn't need specific location, I made a wish standing outside the temple, barefooted on the snow. Hoping it will come true one day.
I hold on my faith, do you?
While on Danube cruise, I visited Djerdap gorge also known as Cauldron canyon, where you can see Big and Small cauldron, also Iron Gates which are located between Serbia and Romania. And the nature is stunning❣
Check my site www.dzoligrafijaputomanija.com for guide and Danube cruise and plan your roadtrip through Serbia.

#selewat

I like to play dress up, I'm in love with fashion🌹❤
Mother Marjun, my UP batchmate. 😁
Some of the best people I've worked with are UP schoolmates. They get things done and work effectively. All successful in the chosen fields. And I trust them. UPBlood
Another organization I'll always be proud of as an Alumna is the Philippine Society of Youth Science Clubs (PSYSC InC), umbrella organization of Young Science Achievers and the biggest of its kind in Asia. Naturally, I'm obsessing over the Sciences. 😁 Most graduated from UP too, 90-95% of its Alumni became successful business people, Lawyers, Doctors, have Master's and PhD's, managing multiple flourishing careers, and are leading productive lives.
Surround yourself with people you want to become - like minded individuals, your life mentors, people smarter than you, and people who handle life productively. And you do become like them. 😊
Goodbye winter, hello spring! I'm always so ready to leave winter behind by the time this day rolls around every year, even though this has actually been a pretty warm and sunny winter. I can't wait to see all the vines and trees turn lush and green again – Rome has a certain melancholy beauty all winter long, but its spring look is always a favourite of mine.
