This is the Titanic Centre in Belfast. It was built to the same spec as the hull of the ship and built on the spot the ship was launched.
Amazing to imagine 100,000 stood here waving off friends and family onboard the doomed ship...
Just a few of our favourite moments from Culture Night Belfast 2018. Many players, artists, event organisers, visionaries, volunteers, sponsors & brands brought 230 cultural events for the people & visitors of Belfast to enjoy. Free to attend and distributed far beyond Cathedral Quarter our highlights were: 🎶 @ulsterorchestra performing inside @belfastcathedral - a stunning venue which we are lucky to call one of our WorldHost clients having trained two service professionals in our Customer Service and Ambassador programmes.
. 💡 @powerni lighting up generations light show, from the countdown to build momentum to the accompanying music through the years, nostalgia for the 1980s, the dancing lady & the brand alignment to #CNBX - message of Love - it truly was a spectacular sight & a lovely example of community marketing - definitely achieving brand goodwill amongst the crowd
. 🎤 the @bcgcbelfast Belfast Community Gospel Choir & their uplifting songs . 🏴 Ulster Scots - Scottish dancers & our visit to the @ulsterscotsagency albeit brief - we’ll need to return . 💃 at the Big Fish - our Salmon of Knowledge sculpture - which was surrounded by little 🐟 sculptures on the night . 👩🏻🎨 watching the new street art being created across the city - including topical art featuring @policeservice.ni (find it beside #BelfastCentralLibrary)
@kaizenprint 💖 Polaroid and other print installations .
The @whiteinkarch wings opposite another of our WorldHost clients - the @niwarmemorial. .
Bumping into friends in business - fellow Trainer Colette, @belfasttimes@bloommagbelfast & more
Our spending 💸 on the evening went to street trader @mournedewdistillery where we sampled Kilbroney Gin, @the_thirstygoat where we enjoyed a live band and our trip home - taxis like FonaCAB had a 99 minute wait on their app. The positive impact on the destination - it’s visitors & traders, as well as the arts scene and industry in general is undeniable and we can’t wait to see what 2019 brings.

A few from Friday's Culture Night in Belfast w/ @beardy_adam
An Victorian Warehouse played host to @ivgorchestra. Not the choice of venue you would expect for an orchestra but with shows and features popping up all over in random places in city centre that night, you quickly adjust to it.
By the end of the show you question why you ever thought an orchestra in a warehouse would be odd. It just worked.
My little brother is going to be furious to hear he missed them doing a track from Metal Gear Solid. Even though I haven't watched the show in years, the Pokémon theme tune was a highlight along with the aria from Final Fantasy VI's opera scene.
