The year of redemption is upon the nations, be patient and keep the commandments saints.
1 Enoch 1:4-9
The Holy Great One will come forth from His dwelling,
4 And the eternal God will tread upon the earth, (even) on Mount Sinai, And appear from His camp
And appear in the strength of His might from the heaven of heavens.
5 And all shall be smitten with fear
And the Watchers shall quake,
And great fear and trembling shall seize them unto the ends of the earth.
6 And the high mountains shall be shaken, And the high hills shall be made low,
And shall melt like wax before the flame
7 And the earth shall be wholly rent in sunder,
And all that is upon the earth shall perish, And there shall be a judgement upon all (men).
8 But with the righteous He will make peace. And will protect the elect,
And mercy shall be upon them.
And they shall all belong to God,
And they shall be prospered,
And they shall all be blessed.
And He will help them all,
And light shall appear unto them,
And He will make peace with them'.
9 And behold! He cometh with ten thousands of His holy ones
To execute judgement upon all,
And to destroy all the ungodly:
And to convict all flesh
Of all the works of their ungodliness which they have ungodly committed,
And of all the hard things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.
We came down from hiking Jabal Umm ad Dami to an incredible lunch cooked over the fire by our new Bedouin friends at the base of the mountain. It started pouring rain as we sat around in a circle near the fire sipping freshly-brewed sage and mint tea, and scooping up the delicious galayet with pita before 4x4ing off to our camp for the night. Ps. Someone please tell me the secret to Jordanian Bedouin hummus because there’s nothing else like it on the planet.

Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه) reported, the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "He who performs Qiyam during Lailatul Qadr (Night of Decree), out of sincerity of faith and in the hope of earning reward will have his past sins pardoned." [Al'Bukhari: 1901 & Muslim: 175, 760]
[Part 4] Lastly, pointed out was the complication of the disproportional favourability of economic freedoms in contrast to the government freedoms. This being potentially problematic to shaping and development of the enabling environment due to the limitations it creates on quality contributions from within the public and realization of the human resources' potential, impacting not only opportunities for individual, but also for collective stability, growth, and prosperity to be arrived at as the common denominator.
[Part 3] Furthermore, discussed were the start-up situation and the brain drain (contributors opting out of the entrepreneurship and as the result expansion and diversification of their local economy for established companies and corporate giants, or leaving the country for bigger, more enabling players in the region or Europe). The region described as youthful: plenty of young people, high rates of youth unemployment, unemployment of educated. Uber in Egypt for example becoming the stability means for many educated and otherwise seeing little prosperous future educated people. The entrepreneurship posing a potential alternative for the individual and collective growth. Technological advances providing some elevation with notable complications discussed prior. Dr. Nagla Rizk of the American University in Cairo, School of Business outlined the rays of hope in 1. Entrepreneurship, basic skills 2. Novel open data initiatives 3. Some government initiatives. #AI#ArtificialIntelligence#MENA#MiddleEast#NorthAfrica#economy#employment#unemployment#inclusion#inequality#freedoms#technology#data#infrastructure#people#entrepreneurship
